A great find in a rural location for our overnight stop. Good communication with Laurence before our arrival and a smooth and friendly check in with Michèle. The room was a great size with a small seating area and a separate shower and toilet. The air conditioning was an added bonus as was the double glazing which made it nice and quiet. The bed was comfortable. There was a good selection for breakfast (including fresh pre-ordered pastries), and all served when we liked. There was a restaurant called Crêperie Vanille just across the road which was fantastic and a great recommendation from Laurence. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We can't say enough about our stay. The room was large and spacious with its own sitting room. It even had a fridge, which was a lovely touch. Our hosts were responsive if we had a question, even out of hours. Michele is an absolute gem and was so helpful during our entire stay. Close to train station (direct to Paris Gare de L'Est) and a delicious breakfast that was served when we needed it. Made an excellent location for the Olympics. We stayed a week and truly will be back.

The hotel is located in very beautiful old city. The building looks like antique, especially, the stairs and floor. Attention to the details: bed for dog, water, cookies. We arrived at late night and we received clear instruction of how to check-in. Room is very clean, snow-white towels and bed linen. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.

Very charming hotel and hospitable host, beautiful characteristic rooms with original, unique and artistic decorations. Small seating area separate from the bedroom ideally suited for if you want to read for a bit more and your travel partner already wants to go to bed. Clean bathroom, modern and very good shower, toilet separately. Would definitely recommend!

I can honestly say that I had the nicest stay EVER and I do travel a lot. The host, David, was super helpful and charming. He really couldn't do enough. The suite and the house itself is just stunning and the attention to detail and the creative passion that has gone into making the house so comfortable is incredible. Congratulations on having such a beautiful house and making your guests feel so welcome. And thank you for letting me stay!

Location and secure parking

At most a three star, a lot of white plastic in the bathroom, and the garden area was not maintained- insecure access to basements from garden might be worrying for people with young children eager to explore!
