Really welcoming and helpful management and superb central location surrounded by cafes, bars and restaurants two minutes for Roman Theatre. Large modern room w great walk in shower and large comfy bed w all lights and power points on both sides. Despite extreme heatwave (38/40!!) the room a/c worked perfectly. Very relaxed atmosphere offering simple traditional French breakfast w delightful choices taken in shady courtyard garden.

You need to note that access by car is very tricky due to complex one way and very narrow alleys. But you can drop luggage in front of hotel then park about ten minute walk in underground public parking and hotel provides an electronic tag at discounted rate.

It was very close to center of activity, a block several restaurants with outdoor seating in nice weather & close to the Théatre Antique, which is still used. But the hotel is located in a quiet little square that was just lovely ! Breakfasts were outstanding! Both outdoor and indoor seating available The beds were extremely comfortable and our bed had a wonderful headboard with outlets on top that was just wide enough to set my glasses, my hearing aid charger , my phone and a small book on. Great design ! The owners, were so friendly, helpful, responsive & just adorable! I would love to come back!

Can’t think of anything- we loved it!

This small hotel was situated right in the heart of Orange, close to the Roman theatre. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and spoke English (though we were able to try out our limited French on them most gracefully!). As we were touring the area they were exceptionally helpful with suggestions for visiting the local area ensuring we didn’t miss out on hidden gems. The bedroom was pleasant with a good shower and a comfortable bed and the breakfast, which we booked separately, was excellent. Parking is available nearby but we were lucky enough to find a free car park around 8 minutes walk from the hotel. All in all, a wonderful stay which felt intimate and relaxed. We would highly recommend and return.

Charming hosts who were very helpful and made us feel comfortable. They couldn't have been more helpful really, with advice on the town, region, car parking, etc. The town is a fascinating ancient place. The Park de la Colline Saint-Eutrope is a must, although conservation works on the ruins now make it impossible to see the view over Roman Theatre, but other views were spectacular and we were lucky that the enormous street market was there on the Thursday bank holiday we left - the best market I have been to by far.

Arrival by car - the one-way system makes it almost impossible to get to by car. Best to park the car in a 60-minute free space on the Cr.Aristide Briand, walk to the hotel, and take it from there.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Orange. - The room was immaculately clean. - The room had a ceiling fan and a/c if you need it. - Very comfy bed and nice and quiet. - Nice courtyard garden with seats and a pair of friendly/sleepy Provence cats. - The staff were very friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed chatting with them. - Great central location in Orange, everything is a short walk away. - Just a 10 minute walk from the station. Highly recommended, I hope to visit again soon.

Staff were super helpful and friendly. Location right in the center so also great. The staff received a great restaurant.

We had room 1 on the ground floor, I think we are average build with a few extra kilos but you couldn’t sit on the toilet in confirm and shut the door. Much too small. I can see why it is so, but still. Also you need to drop off your baggage before going to the car park, it’s not far away but on a hot day with several bags it’s not recommend!

The building definitely looks very authentic and is worth seeing. The managers speak English and are super nice (many thanks personally to Beatrice, the receptionist). The hotel is located just in the middle of the town, next to the Ancient Roman theatre and is surronded by cute narrow streets and passage ways filled with restaurants, backeries, souvenir shops etc. Be aware though, that the building was constructed very long time ago, and therefore its interior is not adapted for people having problems with motion. The doors and coridors are extremely narrow, and the stairs are extremely steep. Please consult with the managers, if you think, this may be a problem for you.

When we arrived, all streets leading to the hotel were closed for traffic due to a festival. Therefore we had to park our car outside the central historic district and to walk to the hotel with the luggage (~ 10 min).

Excellent location within Orange on a picturesque square. Comfortable room with AC and fan for when we felt the heat. Firm mattresses. Best of all were the hosts Roman and Beatrice for their friendly and helpful tips for day trips and local restaurants. Highly recommend. Merci beaucoup x

The location was perfect a few minutes walk from the Forum & the breakfast was perfectly adequate. For a two star hotel it offers excellent value for money. Also the bed was very comfortable. Nigel & Elizabeth Windridge

For the price we paid we didn’t expect anything more & were perfectly satisfied with our one night’s stay.

Delightful little hotel, a few paces from the wonderful Roman amphitheater. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant, with a tiny bathroom, but adequate. Continental breakfast was fine. The parking is a few blocks away in a safe underground parking garage.
