Beautiful location.

We stayed on a Sunday. No one was around in the restaurant area. Whilst checking online for opening times it stated on FB the restaurant times were Mon-Sat. So we had a four mile round trip for evening meal. On arriving back to the hotel the restaurant was open. 😡 Why was this information not available, either on check in or in the room.

This was a good lake side location and ideal for our requirements. Free parking was a bonus and the room with an outside terrace was good. Good quality restaurant on site.

We arrived within our expected time slot but the front door was on a key code and there was nobody around. We eventually found a phone number from our booking and someone came and let us in. Coffee and Tea in the room was advertised but the Coffee was via a machine with no operating instructions and the only Tea offered was Green and Earl Grey.

Nice location near the lake. Very nice rooftop terrace and restaurant terrace. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast.

The room was very small. The balcony is covered in astroturf which I personally don’t like especially as it wasn’t clean. No sun lounger as shown in the photos.

Cordial and helpful check-in and check out- even helped me fix my cycling glasses. Tasty venison for dinner and good variety for breakfast.

Bath in the room.

There was a friendly greeting from the woman on reception and she was kind and helpful. The terrace was great and the room very well equipped. It was quiet and comfortable and in a good location near the lake.

The man in charge of the dining room was unfriendly and unhelpful. The dinner was OK but overpriced. Breakfast was poor. I got down 45 minutes before closing time; they had run out of bread, viennoiserie, fruit, no one was filling things up, the TV was blaring, altogether not a good atmosphere.

The entire team at Lakeside couldn't be more accommodating, going out of their way to get us a 'proper' cup of tea and always ensuring we were enjoying our stay. The location was ideal, slightly out of Parentis so nice and quiet. The food at the restaurant was always excellent.

I am struggling to find any fault at all.
