We booked here to visit friends who live in Parthenay.The hosts Michell & Thierry could not have done any more for us. Thierry even provided our own personal taxi service to go to restaurants & to meet our friends. He even picked us up when we were ready to come back "home". The breakfast provided every day by Michell & Thierry were exceptional with home made yoghurts and compote of rhubarb strawberry, & banana fresh bread and croissants lovely cold meats and cheeses coffee orange juice everything you could want was there! 😋 The garden and pool were loveley, sadly the weather prevented us using the pool apart from one day. I can honestly say that our stay was made perfect by the fantastic service and friendliness of our hosts. We had a brilliant time and could easily have stayed longer! The second bedroom was a bit small but we already knew that from the excellent pictures provided on the we site so no complaints!!

Our host Thierry and Michelle were very welcoming. Thierry told us all about the area and what happens in the town. Our room was very comfortable with an ensuite shower and toilet. Breakfast was huge and they had thought of everything from croissants to cheeses to meats and cereals with homemade yoghurts and jams. It was truly delicious. We stayed for two nights and were made to feel very welcome. We would recommend this guest house to anyone who wanted to stay in the region and we would not hesitate to return. 10/10.

Absolutely nothing. It was all good.

Great location, room clean and tidy, had use of hot tub/jacuzzi, swimming pool was fab and secure parking in quiet residential area, breakfast was amazing and set you up nicely for the day, hosts were great and very helpful , Would definitely stay again, great for couples.

Nothing to dislike

Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, homemade yoghurts, a selection of fresh bread, cheeses and cold meats. The jams were homemade and delicious. The coffee was plentiful and delicious. The perfect start for a busy day of exploring Parthenay. Our hosts were delightful, kind and very knowledgeable about the area.

Nothing

Very friendly, generous and delightful host. Charming, well behaved and noble Boxer dog. Superb and very plentiful breakfast. Quiet bedroom and comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Sadly the weather was too cold to relax in the spacious swimming pool.

Occasionally one is very pleasantly surprised by a booking. This was one. The house is lovely with an immaculate garden with pool and then a delightful annex for the guests. Breakfast included fresh croissants (of course) but also their own homemade jams and yoghurts. They have lovely dog Mocha who is friendly and placid.

Quiet location near the town. Super large room and comfy bed. Small kitchen area and tea making facilities. Fantastic breakfast. Swimming pool area was welcome.

Leaving

The room was immaculate and had everything you could want. Breakfast was fantastic - too much to eat! Very pleasant and friendly hosts.
