The property was clean but small. It is easy to get dirty but also easy to clean. If the double bed could be one size bigger this would make a big difference. The pool area was great for the kids. The public areas were well-organised and clean too. The location (only 45 mins south of Bastia) is fantastic if you’re arriving by ferry (which most people seemed to do). Vallicella is a great mix of self-catering ability but with lunch at the attached restaurant. The food was good but, if you went there every lunch then the menu would seem limited. The outstanding element of the place is the manager, Remco. He was full of ideas of places to go and things to do. Very helpful at every turn. If you want a sandy beach on the east coast then this is the one for you. It’s only an hour from St Florent and 1hr 45 from Calvi.

Limited menu at the restaurant. Also it ran out of gin & tonic on a number of occasions! But the staff are lovely.

Very nice location, with few meters from the sea and the swimming pool front beach. Nice playground for kids. Very good restaurant, bit pricy but amazing quality

House was not very good cleaned and we had problems with aunts in the bedrooms. No dishwasher. Only two washing machines for the whole village which cost 6 euros per cycle and always taken. Swimming pool not very cleaned as they allow people coming from the beach with dirty feet entering and jumping in the water directly (but this is also due to wrong mentality of the guests)

We really liked the great location right on the beach, the laid back atmosphere and the friendliness of the hosts. Everything was well organized and easy-going. The place is great for families and even if it was fully booked, it didn't feel crowded. The air-conditioning was a great plus, with the additional cost (very reasonable). The baker is there every morning 7:45-10, very convenient.

Note that there aren't any other restaurants in the walking distance.

Very clean apartment, with a lot of privacy and green spaces separating each apartment from the neighbours. Reception and restaurant staff were very helpful and kind. White sand beach with clear water, not at all busy (in the first week of May). There is a boulanger coming every morning in the resort with fresh pastry. Overall an excellent quality-to-price ratio! I would definitely recommend!

The managers of the reception were very friendly and very helpful. They were always available for questions and helped us with some wonderful tips to do in the area. This made us quickly feel very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay a lot! The beach was so beautiful and clean and I liked the very nice small bakery on the plot who was there every morning.

I liked it all! We really enjoyed our stay. I would like to have stayed longer.

Especially the hosts were absolutely lovely. Our apartment was really spacious able we even had a separate room for the wardrobe. It was a tiny bit dark, but we loved it in the hot weather, we barely used air con. The beach is excellent and the garden is lovely.

Well for the friendly price we didn't mind anything.

We really liked the place, peaceful and quiet, with birds singing in the morning. We appreciate the baker coming every day to sell fresh croissants and baguettes. The rooms were nice and cosy, the kitchen was fully equipped, maybe a freezer would be a good option to add. The location was great, it was easy to organise one-day trips by car to all interesting places in Corsica, south, west and north. The receptionist was wonderful, very helpful, fluent in many languages!

The WiFi didn't work properly so we had to go outside, near the reception. The swimming pool was rather disappointing, only suitable for children.

Great location, perfect beach, nice pool for kids. Very kind and helpful service, especially at the reception. You can get towels and bed sheets, possibility to do the loundry. Apartments are clean and got all you need for a family. Very good food at the restaurant.

Everything was great!

Very good location for families with little kids. Beautifull sandy beach with simple access from all appartments. Childern playground was great on the beach and next to the restaurant. Pool was great as well. The manager with his wife was always nice, full of helpful ideas for “must see” places, but little bit busy….;-)

Appartment was not fully equipped. I missed some towels hookes in the bathroom, more storage/shelfs/furniture for our stuff. Shower doors has been broken and terrace light was not working first 4 nights (repaired after 3rd reminder)…

Location pracitcally on the beach, nice beach, play area for kids, pool area, kiosk with fresh bread in the morning

Paying extra for the air conditioning (but we knew that before and it is not expensive), kitchen in the appartment doesnt have basic stuff (detergent, sponge, tea towel/cloth)
