The natural light in the flat was good but we were on the ground floor and the balcony was facing North. Probably perfect in the summer but not in October. Somehow the balcony was very draughty and cold. Whenever we left the residence, we were surprised how warm it was outside and that there was no wind! We could see bats being very active at dusk in the trees surrounding the flat and admire birds of prey over the surrounding mountains. The room was very comfortable and had everything to cook with. The hotel had a lovely roof top to admire Porto Vecchio Bay before sunset. The hotel was a few steps from the tourist office and the free electric navette took us to the harbour and to the shops. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to access our flat at 3 pm instead of 4 pm because it was ready.

The residence is not on the hotel premises. It is a walk away, above the underground car park, at the back of the hotel. Pedestrian access was not very well lit up at night along the residence. The internet was very intermittent, especially in the morning and early evening. At night, with all double glazed windows closed, we could still hear the noise of the cars on the road along the bay, despite being a certain distance from that road!

Fantastic views of the sea and mountains from the balcony and roof terrace.

The door to the bathroom, which was off the bedroom, didn't shut properly. The entry and exit to the underground car park was very steep and a bit of a skills test.

Location was amazing, walking distance to main square. There is a free shuttle bus that was not so obvious when we arrived. Make sure to check this as a short walk can lead to a long walk with a lot of hills. The free shuttle is great and so handy. Check it out as it does laps of the town free of charge which are really frequent. Although we did not deal with staff much, reception staff in The Best Western to check us and out in were really friendly and kind.

The accommodation is an apartment block and not attached to hotel whatsoever. But amazing price for what we paid. A lot of hills so not so suitable for elderly or vulnerable without car. Beds were not too comfy towards accommodation that we have been staying in.

Friendly reception desk personel, efficient air conditioning, beautiful shower and sink, good proximity to the town centre, everything within walking distance. Completely secure and convenient parking

Everything was absolutely perfect, I highly recommend this residence to everyone. It is located in the very centre, yet it is very quiet, the garage is spacious enough even for bigger cars, even though the slope is quite steep. The apartment is very clean, modern, spacious and well air conditioned. The terrace is deep enough to have enough shade. Wonderfull property in the town we love.

Very nice place to stay. Staff was friendly and courteous. We loved the balcony and outdoor dining. Location was excellent to explore downtown. Tip: If you arrive at Porto Vecchio by bus, cross the street and use the free electric shuttle A Citadina from Gare Routiere to the hotel, get off at Stazzale. It will save you so much time and effort with carrying luggages uphill.
