Magical building in a gorgeous park, very quiet, furnished with a sense of confident luxury. Wonderful bathroom with windows on the park, super comfortable bed. Swallows nesting above the window and apple blossoms in the orchard, spring is beautiful here.

If I have to say something negative I’d point out that the Stark Victoria Ghost chairs are cool and kinda fancy but not particularly comfortable to sit on, and the desk in the room is too small to work on. But maybe that was kinda the point?

A magic place, wonderfully refurbished chateau sitting in a beautiful park with huge, old trees. We much enjoyed the very nice and spacey room and the garden views, the most comfortable bed and nice decoration throughout, neatly balancing classy elegance and modern style elements. The brand new, large and very clean bathroom was a dream, offering massage shower and a luxurious bathtub.

Breakfast buffet choices were slightly below our expectations.

The chateau is a beautiful place to stay. The room was really spacious with a large bathroom and walk in shower. Really comfortable bed. The grounds are nice to walk around and the location is great. We used it as a last stay on our way back to the UK.

Breakfast was included and the menu was good, however there only seemed to be one staff member on duty so service was slow. Also although I speak some French the waitress seemed unable to understand that if you order cereals you should have a jug of cold milk with it. When asked she brought a large bowl of milk? We sought advice for somewhere to eat in the evening and were recommended a Michelin star restaurant that was not open. A room service menu suggested that they provided platters of food but this was not suggested to us.

We stayed at this Chateau this past July and completely loved it! My family and I were looking for a centrally located chateau in Normandy where we could make day trips to explore the region. The location itself was perfect to be able to do this. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was even better than the pictures. The rooms were spacious and very inviting. We felt right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful to our every wish.

Our room didn’t have an A/C which as Americans we weren’t accustomed to. But we ended up sleeping with the windows open which was quite refreshing and just added to the charm of staying in the countryside.

No meals at night which is fine but was a bit difficult to find somewhere local without a drive. Breakfast first day was sporadic as only initially one person on and it’s not self service. Front office guy came and helped once he came on shift. Not much choice.

Excellent location near Beauvron en Auge with great restaurants. Lovely gardens. Good breakfast. Very nice, clean and spacious room with big bathroom. Would definitely come back.

Breakfast was good, but does take quite a long time and is not at all self-serve.

A fantastic hotel conveniently located. One of the best hotel experiences we have stayed in. Clem was so helpful and polite on arrival and we hope to return soon.

Very small gripe. Leave milk and bowls out at breakfast.
