Good one night stay, bedroom is slightly outdated but comfortable enough and very clean. Breakfast was good and we very much enjoyed the outlook from the hotel, great views. Receptionist was charming and allowed us to collect the keys early as we were planning an evening meal with family somewhere else and came back late.

Good place but pillows in France are always a disappointment, we always bring our own.

There was no hook for the shower attachment so couldn’t stand up for a shower and the soap dispenser was at shower height so couldn’t reach it when sitting in the bath. Luckily I had brought a bar of soap with me. Two flimsy disposable plastic cups in bathroom. Entry to guest accommodation could do with a refurbish. Waitress seemed fairly hostile towards us. Didn’t want to give me a desert as hadn’t preordered. Eventually had compote of strawberries for which was charged €12, quite steep. €15 a night for the dog, again quite steep.

Location of the hotel is magnificent. Car park is spacious. Views are great.

continental breakfest, no eggs, no ham or other meaty food. I do not eat sweet food, so for me the breakfest was just not sufficient.

Great coffee. Dinner was good. Choices were good. Great view from the restaurant.

There isn't much I didn't like.

Very nice staff. The garden around the hotel is very nice with a lot of seating furniture. Other guests said that the restaurant is good. The rooms are getting old - also the bathroom. But we knew about it and we were ok with that.

Hotel should think about modernisation. The WLAN Router was sometimes working, sometimes not. It is to recommend to speak French.

The staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean. Lovely location.

Everything was tired and shabby, cheap and tatty. The restaurant was overpriced and poor. I slept poorly.

Views, when you couldn’t hear road noise were lovely

Just outdated. Bed almost on floor. Old blankets, lumpy pillows. No holster for shower, bulbs gone, power points loose in wall. The bar was really dusty. Two bowls of grey pot pourri - must be 10 years old covered in spiders webs. The menu was the same every night and very uninspiring - very long wait too. Breakfast uninspiring. You can’t get in the property till 4. There’s nowhere around to get a cup of tea and no facilities in the room. It’s several miles from any facilities. The dining room had lovely views but had as much ambience as a dentists waiting room. No atmosphere and made having conversations quite uncomfortable as the room echoey
