Nice hotel at walking distance from Roussillon city centre. Pool area is very nicely located in the forest with relaxing loungers. You can order a small selection of wine and soft drinks at the reception. Small fridge in the rooms and free parking. Nice breakfast and reasonably priced. Roussillon is a very nice town in a beautiful area, would come back!

Rooms are small and a bit dated. Beds are really hard and gave me a back pain. Hotel does not serve lunch nor dinner. We had a room with a tiny terrace on the backside, a bit overpriced for what it was.

Les Sables d'Ocre offers an excellent location in the lovely village of Roussillon. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet and some with terraces or patios. The pool and outside grounds are lovely. The breakfast buffet is great, and you can eat on an outside terrace. There is a bar that serves drinks in the afternoon. There is no restaurant for lunch or dinner, but it is a short walk to the village center with many wonderful restaurants. There is ample parking. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional.

A lovely hotel with a tranquil pool area, friendly staff, clean rooms (with recently renovated bathrooms) and a fantastic French breakfast. The location is only a short walk from the center of Roussillon, and the hotel has a large private parking lot, which is super convenient if you’re traveling by car.

The rooms lack amenities such as coffee machines or kettles, but are otherwise very nice.

We stayed here for three nights and were so glad we booked it. The hotel is easy to get to and there is ample parking outside. The carpark is locked overnight, but you can still get cars in/out with the keyfob from your room if needed. Check-in was very easy and we were early so they very kindly allowed us to use the pool while we waited for our room. The lady who checked us in couldn't have been nicer. She came out to the pool area to tell us when our room was ready, then brought us up and explained how everything worked in the hotel. All the staff we encountered were absolutely lovely. The reception closes from 8pm to 8am but they made that very clear and show you how to enter/exit the hotel during these times as that area is closed off. The room itself was wonderful. Really charming and so clean. A comfortable bed and the hotel was really quiet so we got a great night's sleep. The air-conditioning was just right and kept us cool. The bathroom is really modern with a fantastic shower. There is also a separate little room for the toilet. It sounds bizarre to comment on it but the flooring is so soft - you will see what I mean!  Our room had a small little balcony with a table and two chairs which was a nice bonus. There is also a safe, plenty of storage space for clothes etc and a small fridge. The pool area was lovely. It wasn't too busy during our stay and the water temperature was lovely - refreshing without being too cold. There are deck chairs but also a lovely covered over seating area if you'd like shade from the sun. The location was great. It was about a ten minute walk from the village of Roussillon. It has footpath the whole way in. There is a small supermarket and are plenty of places to eat / get ice-cream. There are lovely views from the village too. It had a nice charm to it. Breakfast in the hotel was tasty. A good range of things to eat - both hot and cold options and we were nicely filled each morning.

I would have liked the option to have breakfast included when booking via booking.com as it ended up adding quite a lot on to our bill and we would have liked to have been able to budget for it in advance.

It was heaven. Everything was perfect. The pool is gorgeous with beautiful white walls n pale blue water that was a perfect 28C and felt like velvet to swim in. The sun beds are luxurious. I sunbathed in the pergola, listening to the wood pigeons n chitterings of small birds, intoxicated by the scent of jasmine that grows all around. The rooms are lovely n many have private patios. Everything was spotless and the staff were very friendly. The building and gardens are just beautiful n well maintained. It’s very close to exquisite Rousillon. You can walk there in 6 minutes. I VERY highly recommend Les Sablesd’Ocre

There’s nothing not to like. It’s a fabulous place to stay in every way - beautiful location and grounds, fabulous and well maintained facilities, comfortable rooms with air conditioning and private patios, great staff. 11/10!!!

Very good location, very close to Roussillon btw foot. The hotel is in the nature, in a very peaceful and calm environment

The staff was very ironic and a bit passive-aggressive. I cannot find good words to describe it but defined lacking hospitality

Great location, room comfortable, pool and terrace spacious and good.

Small points but lack of fruit at breakfast which was otherwise good, just a bowl of small apples the only fruit on offer. Staff at reception could smile a bit more, breakfast staff very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was very good. The pool and surroundings are beautiful. It's stunning at night with the lighted globes in the trees and on the ground. Loved that the hotel is a ten-minute walk to Rousillon center.

The door to the balcony has a very tricky locking mechanism. We needed to get help from the woman at the front desk to lock it.

A lovely quasi-resort and pretty easy walk to town. Very nice garden/pool area. Delicious breakfast including local cheeses, bacon, eggs, fresh croissants and pastry. Beautiful grounds impeccably maintained

Snooty, sarcastic check-in person who could barely force himself to look up from his computer screen when asked a simple question

Very relaxed environment, no screaming kids or boisterous adults. 10 minutes walk to Rouissillon or 1 minute drive. Nice breakfast and comfortable bed.

The only food option available after breakfast for the entirety of the day is a Magnum ice lolly. I don’t think it would be too difficult to add some extra snacks to a menu (doesn’t even need to be hot food, just anything really, crisps, fruit, nuts, chocolate bars etc ) that could accompany the drinks that are on offer at the premises. i think it’s the only hotel accomodation of this type I’ve ever stayed in that did not have any sort of food option available throughout the day or night. This simple and easily achievable change would make a big difference whilst enjoying time around the pool and of course also benefits the premises through revenue.
