The Hotel Florimont is located in the mountainous countryside near the town of Faverges, about 20 minutes drive south from the town of Annecy and just south of Lake Annecy. Chamonix/Mont Blanc is about an hour and a half's drive away. The Hotel grounds include large garden areas and each room has a balcony. The rooms are comfortable with good beds and a good bathroom. The upper floors have elevator access. The staff at the hotel are very helpful. The manager was able to suggest nearby restaurants and laundry services and told us how to go about getting tickets for the Chamonix ski tram to the top of the mountain, for example Breakfast was very generous, with scrambled eggs and bacon as well as cold cuts and cheeses. The breads were excellent and there were various pastries. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the coffee machine produced very good cafe au lait. We also ate in one night and had a very good meal in the hotel restaurant.

Very easy to find and conveniently located near enough to Lake Annecy to be convenient but far enough away to be be quiet and peaceful. The manager and staff were excellent and the breakfast was great with a good variety of fresh quality produce including fantastic breads. We arrived late in the evening due to a 2 hour long delay at Mont Blanc but the manager directed us to an excellent local restaurant. The car parking was free and spacious. In short, this was a good find.

We arrived late and soaking wet on a multi day gravel bike tour. The hotel has a garage for bikes and wet kit to dry in. We arrived too late for dinner but the receptionist looked after us with some bread and cheese he rustled up, along with a few drinks (excellent local IPA). His service was exceptional. Very good breakfast, all in all a great experience.

The breakfast was excellent and of great quality, including bacon and scrambled eggs. The bedding was very comfortable, the room quiet, and above all, the staff were attentive, warm, helpful and making you feel at home. Silent room mini-bar. Beautiful views, especially from the restaurant, which is also very pleasant.

The electric heating in the bathroom was not great, and the furniture/decoration is a bit dated, but not a problem, as everything works fine and is very clean. The hotel is out of town, you definitely need a car, and there is nothing around it of interest (no shops, etc)

I like everything in Brit Hotel Florimont, Saint-Ferréo. Easy booking, easy check-in and check-out and the same way - easy to find and reach by a car. The personell was very nice and speak perfect English. They helped us a lot in finding attractions nearby - Annecy and around it. The hotel is situated in a stunning valley - one should see it. There are supermarkets, pharmacies, cafes, restaurants, gas stations in a walk distance. One can have a lot of activities there - hiking, riding a bicycle, paragliding, boat sailing and of course - sightseeing's. An elevator, clean room, separate WC and bathroom - perfectly clean, comfortable beds and pillows. There is also a heating appliance (rapid heating radiator). I recommend.

The matrices were a bit harder for me. Not for my children any way :).

Very easy to find and conveniently located for our onward travel. Staff were warm, welcoming and very efficient. The accommodation met our expectations and we were able to rest and relax in readiness for our onward travel. Some of our party enjoyed relaxing in the bar.

The manager Benoit!! He was exceptional!! Made our stay as comfortable as possible, was great in handling the communications before our stay!

The rooms are a little dated, but more than comfortable enough for a night or two!
