Just as a small note, the only thing I missed in the room was having a water kettle, which would be very convenient to have available, especially upon guest request. Exceptionally clean rooms, good airco (it was at least +35C outside), good bed and sheets. Location was great, 24h reception, available carpark(not included in price) and very close to old center and super easy to arrive with car. New shower and everything very nicely made. Spotless.

Rooms were compact, so worked for us but maybe a little tight if you are used to more space. Really was great for us though as we only slept there anyway. Room didn’t have coffee but lobby did! We didn’t have noisy neighbours but potentially you could be unlucky, you can hear sounds from corridor.

This is a stylish and quiet hotel at walking distance from Annecy railway station, historical centre and the lake. We had a smallish room just for one night, so it was fine. The staff are really very nice and helpful, and the breakfast was fairly basic but enough.

There was no wardrobe and not enough sockets, nor facilities for making tea. The air conditioner was so noisy that we had to switch it off (but we did not really need it). The bathroom was a bit too small, but had everything necessary. The free wifi is not password-protected.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bonlieu. The hotel is on a quiet street a few minutes walk from town and the lake.and very convenient for everything we wanted to do in Annecy. The rooms are typical of a small french hotel, very clean with a nice bath room . The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, especially David, who greeted us on arrival.

The rooms dont have tea and coffee making facilities , which was a bit of an issue for two tea loving anglais who like our morning cuppa : ) . However, David kindly found us a kettle and a couple of cups so problem solved. We didn't have the hotel breakfast so can't comment on the offering, but otherwise, we were very glad we had chosen Bonlieu. It is an unpretentious and welcoming hotel offering comfortable and clean rooms at a sensible price.

I booked 5 rooms for two nights for myself and a group of 7 friends. I was disappointed that the hotel charged all 5 room costs to my personal credit card a few days before our stay, declining my request to charge each room to the guest staying in it on departure. As the hotel had my credit card as a guarantee for the total costs, there was no financial risk to them in what I was requesting, yet they declined

It was well located (10 min walk from train and 10 from old town and lake)and the staff were helpful. It was very clean. Room was decent size. They give you a notepad and pencil -quite useful!

No fridge or kettle. I did read that only two rooms were without. Whilst it was good to have nice windows, the view was into opposite apartments.

We booked this hotel super last minute due to an issue with a dodgy Airbnb. We were really grateful it was available as it was SO much better! The location is great, really close to the lake and old town. Room was nice and clean with aircon which was great in the 34 degree heat. Bed was very big and room was a good size. Bathroom was good with great shower. Staff were super friendly. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that.

It is a tiny bit dated but still clean. A bit basic for the price.

Everything! The location is excellent, 5' from the lake, 10' from the old town and on foot & 800m from the train and Bus station. Even though it is central the street is very quiet. Recently renovated rooms, everything was great. Very clean as well.

Staff very helpful and location excellent. I enjoyed the breakfasts. The bed was comfortable and there was a great shower. My friend joined me on the last night and housekeeping separated the bed to twins for us; nothing was too much trouble. The room was ideal for 1 person (2 if a short stay) but I knew this when I booked. Would definitely stay here again.

Very hot in Annecy, so a fan or air con overnight would have been ideal.

This hotel is in a great location and an affordable option for single Backpackers or couples. It's a 7-minute walk to the bus terminal, and also a short walk to the lake, the main grocery store, and old Town Annecy. Also has good shower pressure and optional breakfast.

It's on a small street, and a little bit tricky to find at first. Additionally, the rooms are pretty small and the bed is average on comfort.
