The hotel was perfectly central to the train/bus station. My room was like the pictures on the website site. The bed was comfy and big for a solo traveller. The staff were very helpful, supplying me with knowledge of the area and a map on how to get where I wanted to go. I was also able to leave my bag when I checked out meaning I could walk around until I left unencumbered by a heaving backpack. I was also able to sit in the lobby/restaurant later on in the evening whilst I waited for my lift. The room was quiet at night even though it was central.

It is situated along a street with shops/boulangeries etc so you have to go up several flights of stairs before reaching your room however there is a lift but I didn't use it. Would be difficult for those with mobility issues or prams etc. The only thing I'd change about the room is the shower could have done with a bit of an update as it had an old shower curtain which was stained/dirty along the bottom and didn't work too well with water leaking out on to the floor regularly as the curtain kept blowing into the shower. Some cups for water would have been a nice touch.

Everything was very good, location, facilities, room size, decoration. Parking 100m from the hotel at a reasonable price. Netflix included.

The cushions were hard and not comfortable. There is no breakfast included. You can buy something in the cafe downstairs but only as of 9 am and it looks that all they have are sweets. They look great though. We were not able to find a place for breakfast early except coffee. As there is a kitchen and coffee machine you could prepare something there.

I like the location it is literally a 3 minute walk from the bus stop to the hotel. There is several restaurants around it a pizza place across the street and coffee shop right next door. The staff was kind and bilingual.

The only thing left to do to really make the hotel great is removing that old carpet that is the only thing. It looks like bathrooms were renewed not to long ago they just need to add new flooring and it would be perfect.

Location is good, a little walk from Annecy bus and train station for 140 metres. There are many restaurants nearby the hotel. Easy walking to city centre. The room is clean and comfy. The breakfast is simple but perfect! (ham, pancake, boiled egg, cereal, pastry), You can pay breakfast fee at the hotel 11 euro.

The ground floor doesn’t have the elevator. You need to walk up the stairs, but the staff kindly help to carry the luggage upstairs.

Staff were lovely, it's actually really important when you're travelling alone to have someone remember your name and room key, so thank you to the two ladies who helped me Bed was so comfy and turn down done everyday. Didn't have breakfast Location was insanely good 10 mins to lake and v close to monoprix, boulangeries, SNCF

Hairdryer not working nor the lift.

It was in a brilliant location and had everything we needed for a night in Annecy. The rooms was clean, comfortable and quiet and we all slept perfectly. Breakfast was really great, particularly for the price. We parked in the near by underground car park which was ideal and again great value with the parking voucher which we were given at reception. The location was perfect for being right in the centre and having everything close by. We would highly recommend.

The location is perfect. Easily walkable to the central area, short walk to lake. The hotel is older but comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was quite small so I would opt for upgrading to a larger room if you can.

Carpets and rooms could use some updating. Bed was very soft, but was welcome after some of the extremely hard beds we had in other places.

Hotel didn’t have their own parking ,especially when it is in the old town but its normal in small hotels . However, the Hotel des Alpes offered a free parking from 7pm-8am and if you stayed longer,only the difference will be refunded. But I forgot to give the parking ticket receipt that I had after paying so I did not receive the refund. Thank you anyway for the offer.

Apart from an issue a week or so before arrival, where the booking.com website was compromised by hackers who sent us a message within the platform asking us for new credit card details, which made us worry that our booking was not confirmed (we think nothing to do with Hotel Alpes at all. We thought the hotel and staff were just great, nothing was too much trouble and we even had a corner room with balcony, it was a little small but it was great. Staff were excellent, breakfasts were superb and the location was also excellent, close to town and the station too. Would definitely stay here again, no question!

The location is great with a really short walk to the city center. I personally liked the receptionists in the evening and the morning. I also really liked the offer they make for people with a car - they give you a discount that deducts a night of your parking. We arrived at 21:00, left something like 09:00 and paid around 1 euro after the deduction of our parking ticket. I will also mention that the room was really warm during the night. The bed is good, did not notice any issues but I am sensitive to bed, pillows and duvet. So, overall, really good value for the money we paid - you can't expect a lot at this price but it is a really good place to do an overnight stay.

The sound isolation is not the best thing in this hotel, but we slept well during the night, and no loud noise was noticed.
