Friendly staff. Food was excellent. Evening and breakfast. Some off the road parking which was convenient. Would book again.

No air conditioning. The window in our room was open when we arrived allowing the sun to heat the room. Although the room has a fan it was not efficient enough to lower the temperature. Unusual for France as most places will close shutters or curtains during the day in the summer.

The family room was excellent value for money - two separate bedrooms, two toilets and two bathrooms, and great value for money. Parking was free on the road outside the hotel. The hotel bar is lovely and the staff welcoming and helpful. In fact, the staff during our visit went out of their way to give advice and help. The highlight of the stay had to be an evening meal in the restaurant - it was easily the best meal of our three week holiday, with great service and amazing food.

Very good value. I had a single room, single occupancy, it was spacious, very comfortable and quiet. I ate in the restaraunt at the hotel and it was really good food. Great quality breakfast also. I parked my motorcycle in the private car park very close to hotel. I could have payed an extra 10 euros for secure indoor parking but felt no need. Good place, nice walk up into the “haut” village from hotel only took about 18 mins. Very convenient for motorway. Staff all very friendly.

Great location and big room with a juliet balcony with views over the countryside. Quiet and comfortable and very clean. A really fabulous restaurant on site which was really exceptional. The restaurant was very popular with local people. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Well located with onsite free parking. Pet friendly

Location ideal as we could walk the dog easily by the river near to the hotel. The bedroom was lovely and the bathroom great (apart from the shower gel ran out). We wouldn’t normally eat dinner in a hotel but the food here was excellent- in choice, presentation and taste. Great wine list and half bottles also available across many fine wines. The cheese board was superb, although the option of some crackers would have been even better. Probably one of the better continental breakfasts we’ve had in France.

Most things were great but we did wait an hour in the restaurant for our entree and 45 minutes to order any drinks.

Functional and good bike storage

No air conditioning and noisy from bar below with balcony door open. Unfortunate unhelpful exchange with one of the staff when we needed some help - not very kind or considerate.

Lovely room on top floor with balcony and great views. Room was very new and the ensuite too. The shower was amazing; great water pressure. Restaurant was very good, staff very quick. Meals not cheap but quality was excellent.

We had a forced stay of a week due to breakdown of our camper van on the nearby motorway just before a long religious weekend holiday. Reception and restaurant staff were cheerful, helpful and capable. There was ample free parking beside the hotel. The receptionists always did their best to help us with booking a taxi or information about the surroundings. The sheltered little terrace behind the hotel was a nice spot for an aperitif before dinner, or simply for a drink. The rooms were properly serviced every day. The historic old town centre up on the hill is interesting and has fabulous views.

The restaurant was excellent, both the food and wines, although the menu was the same the whole week. It is a small hotel, so you could not expect otherwise. For a short stay, it was certainly adequate. The hotel is in the lower (new) part of town; the historic old city is up on the hilltop, and for that you need to be very fit to walk, or take the free bus (every 2 hours) on weekdays. Otherwise you must have a car. There is really very little to do in the lower part of town. Nowhere to eat at all during the long weekend on Sunday and Monday, when the hotel restaurant was closed.

This is a genuinely good hotel. The rooms are large and with a balcony! Parking is available in the hotel's own car park.

Breakfast was good but not without oddities. There was no cold milk available for the cereals and no large spoons - which meant using a tespoon. Note that the hotel restaurant is not open on Sundays. I was directed to a restaurant in the nearby square for dinner - but though the service was friendly the food was .... mediocre.

Have stayed here before and as before the comfort and facilities were excellent. We had a standard room this time and apart from not having a view of the hills it was fine. The hills are lovely to look out on. Breakfast was very good.
