The family room was excellent value for money - two separate bedrooms, two toilets and two bathrooms, and great value for money. Parking was free on the road outside the hotel. The hotel bar is lovely and the staff welcoming and helpful. In fact, the staff during our visit went out of their way to give advice and help. The highlight of the stay had to be an evening meal in the restaurant - it was easily the best meal of our three week holiday, with great service and amazing food.

Very good value. I had a single room, single occupancy, it was spacious, very comfortable and quiet. I ate in the restaraunt at the hotel and it was really good food. Great quality breakfast also. I parked my motorcycle in the private car park very close to hotel. I could have payed an extra 10 euros for secure indoor parking but felt no need. Good place, nice walk up into the “haut” village from hotel only took about 18 mins. Very convenient for motorway. Staff all very friendly.

Location ideal as we could walk the dog easily by the river near to the hotel. The bedroom was lovely and the bathroom great (apart from the shower gel ran out). We wouldn’t normally eat dinner in a hotel but the food here was excellent- in choice, presentation and taste. Great wine list and half bottles also available across many fine wines. The cheese board was superb, although the option of some crackers would have been even better. Probably one of the better continental breakfasts we’ve had in France.

Most things were great but we did wait an hour in the restaurant for our entree and 45 minutes to order any drinks.

Great location and big room with a juliet balcony with views over the countryside. Quiet and comfortable and very clean. A really fabulous restaurant on site which was really exceptional. The restaurant was very popular with local people. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Well located with onsite free parking. Pet friendly

We had a forced stay of a week due to breakdown of our camper van on the nearby motorway just before a long religious weekend holiday. Reception and restaurant staff were cheerful, helpful and capable. There was ample free parking beside the hotel. The receptionists always did their best to help us with booking a taxi or information about the surroundings. The sheltered little terrace behind the hotel was a nice spot for an aperitif before dinner, or simply for a drink. The rooms were properly serviced every day. The historic old town centre up on the hill is interesting and has fabulous views.

The restaurant was excellent, both the food and wines, although the menu was the same the whole week. It is a small hotel, so you could not expect otherwise. For a short stay, it was certainly adequate. The hotel is in the lower (new) part of town; the historic old city is up on the hilltop, and for that you need to be very fit to walk, or take the free bus (every 2 hours) on weekdays. Otherwise you must have a car. There is really very little to do in the lower part of town. Nowhere to eat at all during the long weekend on Sunday and Monday, when the hotel restaurant was closed.

Lovely room on top floor with balcony and great views. Room was very new and the ensuite too. The shower was amazing; great water pressure. Restaurant was very good, staff very quick. Meals not cheap but quality was excellent.

This is a genuinely good hotel. The rooms are large and with a balcony! Parking is available in the hotel's own car park.

Breakfast was good but not without oddities. There was no cold milk available for the cereals and no large spoons - which meant using a tespoon. Note that the hotel restaurant is not open on Sundays. I was directed to a restaurant in the nearby square for dinner - but though the service was friendly the food was .... mediocre.

Nice city-hotel directly at the main road, but not very loud in the night, even with open windows. Rooms are modern and well equipped and large enough.

Parking garage is only usable before 20h in the evening, although persons are still working at the hotel. If you come later, the car or motorbike has to be left on the road. Be aware: to go the old town it's to far for walking, using car or taxi is only possible for a dinner in the night in the old town

The room was a reasonable size and the bed very comfortable.

We paid for secure parking but didn’t have it. At breakfast there were no croissants or baguettes and the boulangerie had sold out. We were given little croissants, like the ones you buy in a freezer pack and some bread. The cost of breakfast was adjusted but we missed having a proper breakfast.

We had a room facing the road, as there is no a/c we had the window open (July) there was a fair amount of traffic noise. Book a room at the back if possible, plus the view is better
