Location was excellent with fabulous views, and near the RER station. Parking was also excellent and free, on site. The restaurant was excellent, but not every night. However, breakfast was cold on one morning.

Our main criticism is that, for months, we were bombarded with scam attempts, including from within Booking.com's own portal. Maybe 30 or more of them. We did not experience this with similar bookings at other hotels, on this trip. Other guests had exactly the same problem. Of course, the hotel blamed Booking.com, for having gotten hacked! I would urge Booking.com and the hotel to get to the bottom of this. In the mean time, I would strongly suggest booking with the hotel directly, rather than going through Booking.com, if guests want to stay there.

Service in the restaurant and bar, not friendly

The hotel kindly upgraded our rooms on arrival. My room had a stunning view across St Germain to the Seine and across Paris, revealing the top half of the Eiffel Tower (a view which every guest can experience from the restaurant and hotel terrace). The bathroom was spacious and elegant (the shower is in the bath). The vast bed was very comfortable.

We arrived on a Sunday there is (currently) no evening restaurant service on Sunday and certain days - though there is room service available up to either 9.00 or 10.00pm. The helpful receptionist had to sort out drinks for us in the evening as there was no barman (maybe just a Sunday evening thing).

Very nice hotel in walking distance of the centre of the town and the RER station for easy travel into central Paris. Superb vista across to Paris. Nice big room and bathroom, comfortable bed and helpful staff.It is the building where Louis XIV was born if history interests you.

Somewhat faded elegance but none the worse for that, as it somehow adds to the ambience.

We had a classic room on floor 3. Room was elegant however there was no shower just a small bath with a hand held shower attachment. Also for such an elegant and high end hotel the coffee/tea offering was poor in the classic room.

Lovely rooms and shared spaces. Beautiful view over Paris; restaurant and terrace have panoramic views over western Paris. We had a next-one-up from basic room, good size for two. Location is good - St Germain is an elegant suburb/town about 10 miles from central Paris. There is a good train connection in to central Paris.

Restaurant is superb - but pricey

Hotel was beautiful, very historic with great furnishings, terrace and views, my room was comfortable and clean, large for one person as was the bathroom. Perfect location with Paris city skyline. Very helpful man on reception who assisted with many peoples needs. Perfect one night stay.

Lack of bar/waiter staff, half an hour to receive a drink, lovely man on reception had to do it.

Nice hotel just outside of Paris and very convenient that they have their own terrein for parking. Room was clean and comfortable

We came with an electric car and chose the hotel mainly because they advertised to have charging possibility on site. However upon check in we were told that there’s no such availability, this affected our itinerary because we then had to look for another place to charge. Turned out the next day that the employee that helped us with check in just didn’t know about the EV charging, which they did have on site….

I loved our stay! We were very kindly given a room with an incredible view of the Seine and Paris. We lay in bed and watched the Eiffel Tower sparkling in the distance. The bathroom was huge and had a deep bath, which was great. It was very relaxing and quiet. The car park was good and free and the area of St Germain en Laye is picture postcard pretty. The hotel is set in the park and the history of the place just adds to the atmosphere. PS: no early check out - brilliant! The receptionist was a lovely man and helpful. When I compare this wonderful place with hotel rooms in Paris, there is no comparison and yet it is so close on the train.

I liked everything - you can't check in early though, which is understandable.

Location. The Terrace was astounding with the view. Breakfast was excellent. Good parking for residents Air conditioning

No draft beer. Dinner in the evening not commensurate for a 4 star hotel. Drinks over priced.
