The hotel is a 2 stars hotel - my expectations before arrival were a bit lower than what I experienced in reality. I liked the staff, above all the lady at the reception who accepted to wait for me for late check-in (after 9 pm). My room had a balcony, toilette and shower separated from each other in the room. Everything was very clean. Big flat screen TV, perfect functioning WiFi (free of charge). I did not use the pool, but there is one. The parking is spacious.

La Chaumière is located on a main road - practical, but not really nice. Due to Covid safety measures rooms remain undone during the entire stay (I remained 3 nights), there is practically no cleaning service. However, this was not a surprise. The internet service was intermittent and when there was actually any it was quite slow.

The staff was extremely nice. The room was very clean. Breakfast was OK.

The room was different from the photo we had seen and thought we had booked. It needs renovation (old carpet with stains, tiles in the bathroom dating back to the 1980s). The beds were not very comfortable. All in all, this made the room feel expensive when considering that we had booked based on the photo of a modern room and got one perfect for a 1980s movie director...
