This is a true gem of a hotel and ideal for a stop over or a longer stay to explore the region. Value for money is excellent - the rooms are big, parking is free and the hotel is just off the motorway. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent - first a buffet for starters and then a BBQ - excellent. Finally, the breakfast was amazing - a rich buffet with local and continental dishes. Highly recommend the place and we will be back!

Strange property, wooden chalet like, in the outskirts of Perigueux (city center 6 km away), Just off the motorway. The hotel is facing an industrial area, while the back is all green and countryside like. Comfortable quiet rooms, the restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent (and very reasonably priced), which is a must after a long drive. Parking is easy and free within the precinct of the hotel. Dog friendly. Practical as a stop over.

Strong smell of sewage at front of the property.

First impression on finding the hotel weren't good. It looked like it was part of an industrial estate just off the dual carriageway. How wrong! The rear of the hotel overlooks a grass meadow and is very quiet. The staff were very helpful and spoke English. The hotel is very modern and well appointed. Our room was a superior room which overlooked the meadow and had a balcony and two chairs and a table. The room was large and the bathroom, separate from the toilet, was equipped with a delightful walk-in shower and other modern amenities. We ate in the restaurant and weren't disappointed.

More choice from the menu would have been nice and a better stocked bar.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I spent a two nights in a 244 euros a night hotel in Bordeaux earlier this month and this Kyriad was a better experience room wise - and parking was free as opposed to an additional 60 euros. I did not eat in the restaurant but it looked comfortable and the menu was appealing. I did not have breakfast but will next time as they serve a full English breakfast.

Huge room, very comfortable bed and pillows, extremely clean room, bathroom and WC. Darkout curtains that closed properly, pod coffee machine, very good AC!!!. and a cute terrasse facing a clearing and woods.

Lovely large rooms, restaurant and bar with great terrace and staff very accommodating with our 2 dogs. Easy going. Nice bar.

Whilst the buffet starter and BBQ were good value for money we would have paid extra for an a la carte menu as there were flies on the buffet & a queue at the BBQ.

I loved the hotel and the surroundings. Fantastic to stop for a roadtrip with 2 dogs :) They have a fantastic garden for dogs and a nice walk behind the hotel. The only issue was that the air-conditioning was not working in our room, which was a requirement to us as we have a big dog who cannot tolerate heat. At checkin we double checked if the air was working and the lady said she would turn it on in 5 minutes. A couple of hours later she said she didn't have the pin code to turn it on and that it was not possible to use it. We had to sleep with the windows open, wich normally is great, however, the area was FULL of mosquitos and so was the room - over 45 mosquitos we counted! So we basically didn't sleep that night, which was a shame as the room was so comfy! The nice lady however, offered us free drinks and breakfast as a compensation which I truly appreciated and still do! Great hotel otherwise :) Very good ambience. Definitely recommend it :)

Airconditioning was not working

Parking in front of the hotel. The location is also perfect - it is just off the motorway and perfect place to stop on the road trip to Spain. The room was very comfortable and quiet, had a great bed and shower. The restaurant across the street served great dinner. Would definitely stay again.

Cleanliness and quietness. Spacious room. Great breakfast in a very nice space with lovely views into a green area. Nice and secure parking lot. Very friendly staff.

I would prefer if two keycards were provided, as it is needed to access both the room and the corridor from the outside. And while someone is in the room, the light switch would be off when someone needs to go outside, to the parking lot, for example.

Nice enough staff but then after having checked us in the night before same staff challenged us whether we were actually staying at the property when we came to lobby area to get some coffee next day. Then after we confirmed, then told us only for arriving guests. Bizarre and uncomfortable experience with inexperienced staff.

Beautiful setting to the rear overlooking lovely greenery Had a room with a balcony very relaxing to sit out of an evening and so quiet Fabulous choice at breakfast

Would have liked to have stayed more than one night..maybe next time!
