The premises are absolutely divine. The long driveway in to the Chateau and the way the house is situated on the grounds is just breathtaking. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They attended to all our needs. We had a huge room overlooking the gardens. The pool area is new and built in a modern way yet it fits with the feeling of the grounds. All very lovely. The breakfasts were tasty and we loved eating in the outside area. Loved strolling around the grounds and an easy 4 minute drive to St. Remy or a short walk.

Only thing i would suggest is that the carpet in our room be updated as it is looking a lit bit tired. Otherwise everything was amazing

This was a hotel experience that exceeded my expectations. The hotel is an old Chateau that was a family home and has been in the family for almost 100 years and was turned into a small hotel years ago that is run by the family. It is gorgeous and the gardens and property are stunning. Our room was not in the main chateau but in the old chapel which was the most beautiful, modern room but with all the old walls and beams. Stunning, and the best bed/linens ever. The staff was so accommodating. We had trouble with our rental car and they spent over an hour making calls on our behalf and figuring out how we could get the car back after a flat tire. (That sounds simple but it was not...they had 2 people working on it for us.) The food was amazing, the pool setting was gorgeous. I cannot say enough about this experience. I felt like I was in a French countryside novel setting and yet we were a 20 min walk to downtown St Remy. This location was fantastic. St Remy and the area was so accessible to this location. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely stay here again!

It was absolutely beautiful, something out of a romance novel. I knew it would be lovely, I didn’t fully understand how beautiful it was going to be. Everything from the check-in process to the checkout process was run so smoothly. My car was parked for me, my car was retrieved for me. I ate dinner under the trees, I had breakfast in my room. It was just lovely. I hope to be back one day.

Wonderful location, grounds, and staff. If you can get a room here, I would highly recommend staying here. The grounds are extensive and beautifully maintained and very peaceful. The staff make the place even better because they are so attentive and helpful. In particular, Vlad was the best at making us feel at home, helping us with our luggage and with our sightseeing plans.

Everything about this hotel is superb. It is truly a château, the rooms are wonderful, the staff amazing, the grounds fabulous and the food exceptional. It is just 1.5km outside the charming town of St Remy. We stayed 3 days in May and toured around. Go see Van Gogh's asylum. And the Roman town of Glanum.

Sometimes, breakfasting on the terrace, or having drinks, the service was a little slow.

This was a place we could finally relax and feel like it was truly a luxurious vacation. The staff was wonderful, the food was fantastic and the grounds were beautiful.

It actually was upsetting that we purchased a purse from the Chateau and were not able to receive any paperwork to allow us to receive VAT tax benefits. Although they provided a receipt, it was not accepted at the airport which could have saved us at least $100. If they are going to sell items, they should have the proper paperwork to offer to guests.

Breakfast was excellent. The food was wonderful. The food was beautifully plated and tasted absolutely awesome. The location was quaint and its basically necessary to have a car to get around. There are little to know transportation options nearby.

The menu was quite limited - could be expanded to a few more options maybe. It is difficult to get around without a car - perhaps a shuttle service or a tuk-tuk to St. Remy or other nearby towns would be useful.

Hotel Chateau Des Alpilles is stunning and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. When we arrived we were greeted by Vlad who is the welcome committee, bellman, comedian, and excellent host. The entire staff was great including the sommelier and the reception staff. The restaurant was excellent both for breakfast and dinner. We recommend renting e-bikes and going to Les Beaux.

We're already planning a trip back! It was the highlight of our trip around Provence.

Room 14 was a bit disappointing; separate commode in one corner of the room, and the shower in another corner. Furniture a bit large for the size of the room, with no place for bags, let alone the gratuitious throw-pillows on the bed.

Tricky to get taxi or Ubers into St Remy and back for dinner if you didn’t want to drive. It would be great to have a shuttle service (paid or unpaid)
