The room was very spacious with huge closets and a large bathroom. The property was extensive with beautiful gardens. Free parking was a great plus and I loved all the extra pillows. It was also great to have streaming channels! Nicely decorated with real stone tiles in the bathroom. Service from everyone was excellent especially the front desk staff. There was a nice, relaxed feel where all the guests chatted over breakfast. It was close to everything but far enough away to feel relaxed and secluded.

The air conditioning ran too cold. Even on a high temperature setting it just got too cold very quickly. And I prefer fresh air at night anyway. But the mosquitoes were too much of a problem. Bugs are expected in a garden setting so there should be screens on at least some of the windows. And although there were lots of pillows, some variety in softness would be welcome.

The room and property grounds are fantastic and really well-maintained. Vanessa was charming, super helpful and really provided us with a welcoming stay! Great breakfasts on the patio under the wonderful heritage Sycamore trees. Pool was also fab. This experience is magical in every way. We also had outdoor massages in a private area that was absolutely transformative! We shall return!!!

Two friendly suggestions: 1. The outdoor hot tub/spa closed/locked early in the evenings so we never got to use it. After many exciting days filled with local adventures and excellent dinners, we would've loved to come back and have a nice glass of vin rouges and take dip in the spa and it was closed all four of our nights. Very frustrating! 2. No staff property coverage after 20:00. Wasn't a problem for us but in the event of a medical/site emergency it might've been.

Hotel Mas Valentine was a beautiful place for our group of 9 to stay on the way to a family wedding in Provence. The staff was very helpful with various transportation needs we had and recommendations for restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable and very beautiful. Breakfast was nice too! Overall, we all agreed that we wished we could stay longer. We highly recommend Hotel Mas Valentine.

Ground transportation from Saint Remy in the evening after dinner was very tough to get. The staff helped arrange a driver but it was a little difficult to reach. We recommend renting a car in this area. While we had one, our group had split up that night so some of our group was reliant upon a taxi.

The property is absolutely gorgeous. A typical Provençal paradise, we truly gasped pulling in to the driveway. The staff were incredible, especially Marie, who was so welcoming and wonderful and gave us excellent tips on how to get around and what to do. Our room was spotless and so charming, and we loved the little details and lovely welcome note. Breakfast was delicious every day and a great way to start the day. We are planning to return with family for another trip! We sadly did not have time to jump in the pool but absolutely will do so on our next visit.

Mas Valentine was extremely comfortable and well presented. Our room was excellent, the pool was lovely (perhaps a little chilly) and breakfasts were excellent. Finally all the staff were helpful and cheerful.

The only major thing that would have enhanced our stay was the option to dine at the hotel some evenings. The dining room and terrace seemed underutilised as we ventured out evening

Mas Valentine is a picture-perfect Provence farmhouse located just a few minutes outside of the town of St. Remy. The location is truly a perfect home base for exploring Provence. Our room was clean, with air conditioning (necessary in the summer, in my opinion!), a lovely pool, and a sauna and whirlpool that can be privately booked for an hour at a time. The breakfast included each day was incredible––a gorgeous array of pastries, eggs and bacon, fruit, yogurt, juices and coffee. Our absolute favorite part of our stay, though, was meeting Marie Anne. She is so warm, friendly, and helpful, and she truly made our stay at Mas Valentine unforgettable.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast buffet with many options, comfortable beds. Good base to explore St. Remy and surrounding places. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

A/C in our room did not work properly. Somewhat weird bathroom layout (too many doors). No face washers were provided.

From the moment I spoke to the manager Marie Anne on the phone I knew we were in safe hands. A beautifully renovated Provencal house, Mas Valentine provides a spectacular 'home away from home' while in Provence. With just 11 rooms, it feels like a home. The bedrooms are all a good size with lovely bathrooms. Decorative details are stunning - pale oak floors in the bedrooms, limestone in the bathrooms and communal areas. The breakfast was superb, the swimming pool fabulous. The sauna and jacuzzi are a treat and can be booked for private use. The staff couldn't have been nicer and provide a list of restaurants in the nearby town where dinner can be taken.

Beautiful setting. Beautifully stunning building. Every member of the team was very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future. Absolutely perfect.

Not a single fault.

The location was excellent. The Mas itself was picturesque. Our room was large, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was a major surprise, not just continental, but they also offered, scrambled eggs and bacon.

The Mas closes its doors at night, and we were not aware of that when we booked. However they ensured that a key was there so that we could go into our room as we arrived late.
