A nice newly renovated room in a convenient location for a wedding at the nearby chateau and near to walk in to the village. Cyril was very helpful. Nice balcony with open space of grounds close to woods. Good to have a fridge and cooker in the room but no tea/coffee making facilities unless you had your own, which we did.

No one on reception on arrival, having to phone - not ideal with an English phone and after a long journey. Fixtures and fittings were loose - door handles inside and out both came off in my hand. Long walk with bags from car park to reception. Strange position of reception behind a bush at the back of the building. Hotel seems like a ‘work in progress’ which is fine if you are told that when booking.

Le Ducs is situated along the Veloscenie, the cicling path from Paris to Le Mont Saint Michel. Starting by bicycle from Paris,(stage 1) this hotel, maybe a good point for spend the first night after visiting Versailles Castle. Most important element of the Hotel is Monsieur Cyril, the receptionist. A rare example of a gentleman. Smiling, accurate, welcoming. Room old but adequate for our single night. Old hotel, simple management. Situated one Km from Chevreuse center where you can find pizza, indian restaurant and more.

Hotel need renewal but is good for cycle tourists. It would help a garage box for costly electric-bikes (many tourists run with this bikes). But we travel with normal muscle-cheap-bicycles, so.... all good chain and put them behind the building.

Room was quiet and had a little kitchen area which was nice. We had meals delivered to our room and were able to enjoy them sitting at a breakfast bar by the window. The host (Cyril) went out of his way to help us with all our questions and gave advice and practical solutions to our transport challenges (we were without a car and attending a wedding on a farm in the middle of nowhere).

We probably should have asked at the time, but a couple of chairs on the balcony would have made our stay even more relaxing, the outdoor space at the property was such a treat.

The staff is very nice and friendly. Location is convenient, the town is just 5 min walk from the hotel, the hotel is surrounded by the forest which is a great bonus! It was safe, nice and quiet! Breakfast delivery was timely, breakfast itself was I'd say cute :) It's a classic French sweet breakfast: juice, croissants, butter, jams, honey, Nutella, coffee and tea. it's clearly stated in the breakfast request paper, so no surprises/complaints.

The facilities are old, the wardrobe sliding doors in our room were hardly sliding, there is no ventillation in the bathroom. And I wish there were a few chairs and a small table on a terrace to enjoy a breakfast there! Even plastic ones would do :)

It was ok for our stay, short walk into the beautiful village nearby. Bit of a fluster checking in as there were quite a few checking in at the same- we couldn't open our door and the guy was quite snappy with us which we didn't really appreciate. But he was friendly the rest of the time. I'd recommend staying here

Does what it says on the tin. Clean comfortable friendly. A proper hotel in terms of a good building so NOT disturbed by other rooms

Everything was as you would expect for the price but the blinds in kitchen area didn't cover the bottom 1/3 of the window so light came in - but not a big issue.

The staff is quite friendly and give us all the information needed. I think he is not there the all day, he prepare the room keys in advance for the arrival of the guests. The room was quite big for the family, and is fully equipped, it is kind of duplex apartment actually with little kitchen and balcony . It was clean. There is a free parking outside. Our room was in front of the forest so very quiet, and the location is quite convenient to travel around la vallée de Chevreuse.

The breakfast which is sent to the room because the residence doesn't has a room for breakfast, is basic and sufficient but miss some cooked food, like eggs, or ham or even fruit. They send also the Nespresso machine for the coffee. The furniture and appliances are quite aged but functional, but found some interesting old magazine or books if you like to read.

Lovely staff, very helpful and told us lots about the local area, only too happy to help.

Cyril the manager was so helpful and made good our problems with the room and the situation, he helped by getting taxis for us.

Room was suffering from heavy use and there were several problems that Cyril put right for us

quiet location set in lovely surrounds. very helpful concierge.

being updated so we had an older style room and a newly decorated room. would have been nice to have matching but stay was still good.
