Everything was perfect This hotel truly made our visit to St Tropez a wonderful experience. The location is perfect – right in the center of everything, exactly where you need to be for a St Tropez trip. A special mention goes to the general manager, who was extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. She personally checked us in with such warmth and hospitality, making us feel immediately comfortable. The cleaning and hygiene were outstanding. The room was spotless, smelled fresh the moment we walked in, and the bathroom was so clean. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which is a must during summer in St Tropez. If you really want to enjoy St Tropez, book this hotel – you won’t regret it!

Perfect location of the hotel - just a couple of minutes from the center. Next to the Harbour, restaurants, shopping street. 3 minute walk from the central bus station if you are coming from St Raphael. Extremely clean and fresh rooms, sheets were shining white. Personnel was super nice and polite and we had so much help from the Serbian receptionist (I'm sorry to have forgotten her name). She gave us so many tips about the hot spots around, helped us get a cab to Nikki beach. Thank you for your positivity and excellent attitude! I would most certainly recommend the hotel to any friend that plans a visit to Saint Tropez. A wonderful experience and a perfectly relaxing stay at Playa Hotel.

Staff at the reception were very nice and helpful all the time. :) Great location. Basic rooms, but clean. I would say it was too pricy, but taking into consideration that we were in the main season (in the beginning of August) and St Tropez is an extremely expensive destination, I know that the price just reflects the price level of Saint Tropez and in this aspect the price was reasonable.

Bad or no sound proofing, as we could hear noise from the surrounding rooms and what is even worse we were waken by the cleaning ladies who were hoovering the corridor and kept talking loudly, which was really annoying, we couldn't sleep tight. (No fridge in the room, but we know about it, it was no surprise, so I didn't put it into the ratings. )

Excellent location. Walk out the front door and you’re right in the center and a very short walk to the marina. Also close to the port for when we arrived so didn’t need a taxi.

Sound proofing wasn’t great, we were located in room 1 which seemed to mean everyone staying there walked past our room and was noticed in the mornings and when people are coming back at night.

Ask for a room with view on the patio its quiet and the room is a bit bigger. We had room 10. Well equipped clean even a hairdryer. So central. The juice place across the street and Mame brunch are a gem. Receptionists are nice. Thank you!!

The hotel is located in the city center, within walking distance to popular shopping areas. It is easily accessible and is located in a safe and convenient neighborhood.

Some things that I liked about the hotel were the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, the comfortable beds, and the convenient location.

The receptionist Jonathan absolutely made our stay. Welcoming, charming, informative, helpful, he brightened up the dull reception area.

The hotel needs to be redecorated, the towels need to be replaced. The air conditioning needs to be replaced. The artwork in room 16 should be binned. Dreadful taste. Breakfast very basic for 12€ Price invoiced by Booking considerably more expensive than the rate announced at the reception. I would appreciate an explanation.

Hotel Playa was very close to the harbour which is the focus of the town, The hotel was very clean and the room was very comfortable. the air conditioning worked well. The reception was attended all the time. I call the hotel a "nearly hotel" because it was nearly a great hotel. Little things let it down, for example, the breakfast room is a main feature and is a prominent picture in their showcasing of the hotel yet it is very underused. We had breakfast in it one day and we were the only people using it and there was little or no evidence to suggest that others had used it that morning. We met several reception attendants during our short stay, all were lovely, but one was slightly negative. However, I must stress that I found Hotel Playa to be very good indeed, especially for St Tropez. It is now my hotel of choice for that town. I noticed it on a previous visit and am not disappointed

The breakfast was a bit expensive but that's St. Tropez. Whilst I liked the breakfast my partner didn't. The coffee wasn't good and the croissants could have been a bit crisper.

The bed was very big and good. The location is superb and the breakfast was a very good French breakfast with croissants and pain au chocolat. The people at the reception were very nice and we felt very welcome.

Maybe a more luxe bath room

Hotel Playa was the best 3-star I've been at in a loooong time!! Although it's an older building, it was perfectly clean, no odors, no peeling paint and an excellent location. Excellent value. My top floor room was large, the king bed was large and very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. The simple decor was acceptable with yellow accents. At the reception, the gentleman was super friendly and cheerful. The woman needs to be more patient, friendlier and more caring.
