We were upgraded, to what I think, was a larger room on the ground floor. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding excellent. The shower was also very good. The restaurant provides excellent food, we had dinner both nights.Parking is very easy and close to the rooms. It is a peaceful location very close to Utah beach.

Our room was a little dark. The lighting was not quite right. However, we sat in the courtyard by the restaurant for a drink as it was in the sun. The decor/furniture was very modern and the bedside stool was a little inadequate. More comfortable chairs would have been welcome rather than 2 " dining chairs".

This is a beautiful place to stay, a Norman manor house with outbuildings converted to rooms done to a very high standard. The setting is idyllic, as is the surrounding countryside. If history is your thing, then you are 4km from Utah Beach, and there are historic sites dating from the D-Day landings too numerous to mention. The restaurant attached to the property was superb for dinner. All of the produce is local and prepared to perfection. The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful.

I could only find one electrical socket in my room that could take a travel charger plug. There are other sockets but none that would take a travel plug.

Le Grand Hard was an AMAZING find. It’s an absolutely gorgeous property that I wish we could’ve spent more time at. The staff were amazing and worked with my limited French. The room was renovated recently and was extremely clean and luxurious. I was blown away by the property and the amenities they offered. My wife and I will be making it a point next trip when we tour around Normandy to stay here again. The restaurant was amazing too with all organic food from local farms being offered. Don’t miss out on the breakfast either, it was delicious and we definitely got our moneys worth. Thank you so much Le Grand Hard!

Nothing, not one thing was wrong with our stay. Other than I wish I stayed longer.

Beautiful location, on arrival staff very helpful with directions for locations close by not to miss. Which could easily be missed if you are there for a short time as we were. Loved the little shop of local produce. Restaurant looked nice but we ate locally. We had an apartment which was lovely. Breakfast was nice, beds were comfortable.

There were lots of flies at breakfast landing on the food which was off putting.

The hotel is lovely - the rooms are beautifully spacious and clean with a fabulous, modern shower room, the staff extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating, the location is in a quiet, peaceful lane and the meals in the restaurant were absolutely wonderful. I couldn't fault either the location, the beautiful hotel or the wonderful staff.

Very good location near Utah Beach. I have never stayed at the old farm, so it was nice experience. The bed was very comfortable, and the room smelled good.

We had more questions to the restaurant and their service than to the hotel. We booked a table at their restaurant 3 weeks before arriving, and got the worst table ever. Overall experience in the restaurant was not good, and the food could be better for this price.

We are a group of 13 cyclists (Prostate Pedallers) and we loved everything about this hotel. It was in a stunning location and the buildings / guest rooms formed a large courtyard where you can sit and have a drink. Everybody loved everything about this place including the evening meal we had which was really excellent. The breakfast was also very good.

It's very hard to fault. I'm not sure we could think of anything that could have been improved.

Very quiet, beautifully restored manor/farmhouse. Electric bikes for hire at hotel. Good restaurant on site, excellent food, but menu restricted and not changing. Oysters and lobster were amazing.

Not much going on round about. Really good place for a stopover on a longer trip. Vegetables scarce in restaurant.

This was a charming location, lovely setting and buildings but the real hit is the staff - delightful people who were really welcoming. We decided to have dinner at quite short notice and that was sorted and when the outside table got cold we were invited in to the lounge upstairs and served Calvados

Breathtaking relaxed setting. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Cottage was better than we could have hoped for. On-site restaurant was exceptional. Close to Utah beach.

We didn't like leaving. Next time we will stay longer and take more advantage of the relaxed setting.
