What a brilliant welcome. The staff were simply lovely. The hotel is right in the heart of the town, we arrived on a Sunday but there were still a few bars and restaurants open, which was great. There was secure parking for motorbikes in the barn, which was great. The rooms were stunning, really well done, clean, modern, etc. Breakfast was great too...and we had to try the local ginger cake..which was very nice. We would head back here in a heartbeat.

Charming, immaculate hotel right in the heart of medieval Samur-en-Auxois. There is a relaxing bar area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. A good choice at breakfast, and excellent wifi reception. There were plenty of electrical sockets.

We had a very strange wardrobe with a door across the hanging area which could not be moved, making access difficult. I prefer to have a safe in the room, but I was assured that I needn't worry about security. We walked past a flower shop at 8am, before it was open, and all the pots had stood outside overnight. Clearly the owner was not worried about theft. It would seem that Semur is a safe place. A pot by my front door would risk being stolen in the UK!

Lovely small hotel bang in the centre of the village with 3 private parking spaces right outside, plenty more on street parking, but we did not have to use ! Plenty sockets about ,good aircon,good linen, comfortable bed.bathroom was fine with a good shower over the bath ! Room 102 had a beautiful small flower laden balcony looking out to the hub of the town! Great communication prior to arrival!

Excellent location to visit the magic Medieval town of Semur en Auxois. Right at the entrance gates to the town with off-street parking in a courtyard alongside the building. Breakfast was excellent and staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Our room was large and although a historic building it had been renovated with modern facilities.

The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was generous and offered a good variety.

It can get quite noisy if you open the windows, due to the cobblestone street outside.

Comfortable room. Brilliant location in the centre of a charming mediaeval town. Great for an overnight stay on route to/from the south.

It's a pity it doesn't have a restaurant, given the location in the heart of France's best region for food and wine. Still the staff helpfully guided us to a nearby street with a couple of excellent eateries.

Doors locked when we arrived. A friendly neighbor helped us decipher the automated process or i don’t know what we would have done. It needs directions in the guests’ language, directions to activate lights, and warning about the step down as you enter the room.

That was a very wonderful, nice place. Perfect for some days holiday. Quite little village, nice people. Lovely countryside. Thanks for all for anything.

Lovely hotel, fantastic and spacious rooms - we had the family room. Breakfast was great too and a nice touch with their own little bar serving local beer. The Cassis beer was very tasty.

The old building had been beautifully restored and the lady in Reception was very helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

The Wi-Fi signal was very weak and essentially unuunusable.
