Great location, beautiful scenery. Accommodates dogs very well. Fantastic host, lovely lady with great attention to detail. Love the fact the hotel is sustainable. Very relaxed atmosphere but high quality and our stay was fabulous. Would strongly recommend! Heated pool looked magnificent too.

Not much to dislike. Shane restaurant was shut on Sundays. Having seen the home grown vegetables we'd liked to have tried them.

You can't beat this place for the following; great food, great rural location, beautiful house and garden, tranquility, welcome. It was so quiet, we had a lovely bedroom with a perfect view of the gardens and, of course, the Pyrenees.

Oh, I was sure this place was perfect, until, at 6am the next morning, next doors alarm went off and we were exposed to half an hour of loud music. We knocked on the door. Nothing. QUEL DOMAGE. The staff could not explain it. We were the only guests, it was obviously staff in the private apartment next to us. I hope the owners sort this out.

A pretty historic property in a lovely setting, with good cuisine. plenty of space for a large dog on and off a lead. The rooms were appropriately furnished in a traditional manner.

The evening meal was very good, but service was a little slow as the tables were all fully booked and a large party of local people had arrived for a full dinner.

The location is spectacularly beautiful, with lovely well kept grounds and views of the snow-capped Pyrenees in the distance. The food is entirely sourced from local producers and is superbly cooked in the traditional French style. The staff could not be more helpful or welcoming.

We loved everything about this place and wish we could have stayed longer.

Very pleasantly surprised - considering that it describes itself as a Chambres d'Hotes (bed and breakfast), it far exceeds my experience of CdH's generally in France - I have stayed in far less comfortable hotels for similar prices. Spacious well-equipped room, good dinner in a pretty full restaurant

Nothing of note

I was glad to return after a great stay here last year. It is a wonderful place, nicely furnished and as we live in a historic house ourselves we felt at home. The views are stunning.

Mondays are to be avoided. Although bookings are taken for a room there is no restaurant so you have to fend for yourself. This means a trip to find a place if you want a restaurant. Having said that breakfast is available next day if you can hang on!

Lovely location in the mountains with gorgeous views. Excellent walks nearby. A first class restaurant serving a limited but delicious menu. Charming and helpful staff

It is VERY quiet. So perfect for a night to get away from it all but lmaybe not for a longer stay

The room we stayed in was really cold, no heating was on, so not so comfortable. Staff although attentive are quite hard to find… perhaps a number to send a text should be available if you want to order a drink etc?

Very dated bathroom facilities, we are an older couple and we had to climb into a slippery bath and manage a hand held shower head

The hotel itself is a gem. A beautiful and elegant building, a throwback in time set within a perfect country setting. It is furnished exquisitely and you can see the proprietor took great pride in her hotel. In the evening, restaurant provided cuisine of a very high standard.
