Quiet property right before you get to the old town of Foix. Restaurant and full bar on site. Staff very attentive and friendly. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent food and wine. Recommend. Property as pictured is near a lake/river and a park to walk and enjoy the ducks and birds. The rooms were clean and beds comfy. The shower is huge. I would stay again if in the area. The village of Foix is very old and charming, but it was worth it to stay outside of town as we had a car and did not want to deal with parking. Parking at hotel also had EV chargers. Breakfast was typical for the area, yogurt, cheese, ham, eggs, cereal, etc. coffee machine in lobby. The rooms had tables and chairs outside of door (we were on first level) to relax; staff offered we could enjoy our drinks at our rooms too. If passing thru area would recommend staying a night or two here. Very peaceful, good food, staff nice, restful room.

The parking, the location, the room was very comfortable and private. We were pleased and grateful that our request for a ground floor room was acknowledged for a three night stay as my husband has limited mobility. We invited friends for dinner in the restaurant on the second night, who were celebrating a special wedding anniversary and on the whole the menu good and food was delicious, however, my husband had some veal that was inedible, full of gristle. When he gave feedback, our multi talented Server handled the situation very professionally and offered us desserts on the house, which we appreciated. I have to compliment the menu choice and I believe it changes daily, congratulations on the wide variety. Having just retired from the hospitality industry, I now look forward to being on the receiving end of good food and service.

The first hotel I have been to that has a checkin at 5pm. However, we were able to access our room at 4pm and we had a lovely welcome. I understand why this may be and respect that decision, fortunately the location being next to the river we were able to take a walk and appreciate the surroundings, nature at work, ducks, geese on the river.

The room was clean fine and comfortable. Dog friendly, for our three dogs. Very helpful staff. Good dinner.

From the photos it wasn't clear it was a "motel type". It looked like we were getting a closed balcony...not the case. Little things. The gardens were unkept. The walk ways needed jet washing. The walk to the restaurant with the dogs was very scruffy. The door mat to our room was thread bare. But. We were happy to stay there and we will be back 😊

Great location our room backed on to the river , very relaxing stay - Foix centre is five minutes drive away and is well worth a visit

Being near the river mosquitos were prevalent, not the hotel's fault just a warning to pack plenty of repellent

Very warm welcome. Spacious PMR room allocated at short notice. Very good evening meal and breakfast, using local ingredients. Lovely setting.

Clearer directions for those without sophisticated navigation systems!

The English man who welcomed us was extremely helpful and friendly. We loved the location by the river/lake. We were disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open for dinner on either of the nights we stayed. Breakfast however was very good.

As I said, restaurant not open.

Such a peaceful place at the side of a lake.only swallows and martins flying overhead. No planes.

Some more variation in the menu. We stayed four nights and the menu was much the same each evening.n

Lovely lakeside spot and convenient for a day trip to Andorra. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Nice grounds.

Open plan bathroom (not loo) would not be for everyone! Aircon from restaurant was noisy outside our rooms but inside was fine

Quiet, comfortable, air conditioned room overlooking a lake. Just a few moments drive to the center of Foix. The restaurant was wonderful, one of the best meals I’ve had in France! And that wine list? Truly amazing. The service was top notch, receptionist/server was so friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Good restaurant with local food. Rooms have been renovated. Quite location.

Some parts of the property still need to be renovated, the gardens are not well maintained.
