1. The property and the location were excellent. 2. The staff was very nice and spoke English (loved it). 3. The proximity to Monet's garden.

1. We felt that there should be scrambled eggs in the breakfast and did not see them, and hence skipped breakfast. 2. We had asked if we could fit a third person (our daughter) for one night which we could have easily worked in the room we got on the second bed. This was very odd of the hotel to deny it, we had trouble ourselves to drop her at another hotel 5 miles away and left a very sour taste about this trip and the hotel. We will not stay here again, sorry.

The parking being at the hotel was great. Location was great to see the Monet gardens. Beautiful village to see. Very walkable and photogenic. Hotel and the grounds were lovely.

The steep narrow staircase for hauling luggage up. We had the price fixed menu for dinner. The chef picked and it was called a surprise menu. The surprise was the price for what you got. A boiled egg with sauce was one, and small portions. No meat Small amount of catfish on another serving. Breakfast not a good value. Had to boil your own egg..Tiny amount of fruit served. No selection of yogurts. No salt and pepper on the table. Least favorite of my month long trip so far.

Staff so pleasant and no problem arriving a little later than planned, traffic. Lovely dinner, again excellent service. Great location for exploring the village.

A note on how to use the coffee machine would be useful! Nothing the hotel can put right but, *the swamping of Monet’s house and garden by so many coach parties! Spoilt the ambient atmosphere having to queue everywhere, even to pay for items in the gift shop! Expected many people but it was packed and there was no chance of lingering and soaking up the atmosphere in the gardens.

Staff were welcoming, friendly & helpful. The bed was comfortable & breakfast was delicious. The hotel is in a beautiful location and we are happy we based ourselves here for a couple of nights to explore the village beyond Monet's Garden.

We were a little disappointed with dinner. Our entrees weren't served at the same time although there may have been a mix up in communication. The meal was more expensive than we had expected. The menu we saw outside the property was different to the menu we were offered in the restaurant.

This is a delightful hotel that is conveniently located and boasts a warm and engaging staff. The room was large, comfortable, and features a spacious shower and a commanding view of the surrounding countryside. On-site parking was very convenient. Having arrived earlier than expected, we had time for a light, flavorful lunch overlooking the hotel's colorful garden.

Everything about our stay was a pleasure!

Location was excellent in terms of being close to Monet's house and gardens. Hotel itself has a very nice garden to relax and cosy restaurant with tables on the terrace and inside. Rooms are very clean and have modern facilities.

Apart from Monet's museum there is not much to do around, very limited choice of cafe's and no shops. Breakfast had limited choice of products on buffet.

Breakfast was wonderful and delicious. We also had a meal at the restaurant which was very unique and delicious

I wish our waitress was a little friendlier but that's fine because 2 other staff were very good. Perhaps it was a case of difficulty with language since we do not speak French. Also wish there was air conditioning but I guess that is like most places in France.

We managed to book this hotel when Giverny was closing for winter. The staff which were young went out of their way to help us. Even though the restaurant was closed for our second night, they still provide dinner for us, as all the restaurants were closed in the town. Plus a very large storm was coming though and we had to get to Vernon and there were no buses so they arranged to take us. It was an exciting stay. Special thanks to Kimi for looking after us!

Location was ideal and included car parking so it was easy to visit Monet's garden. Rooms were good. This was the only hotel where were we shown to our rooms and all aspects of the room were explained. Loved the handwashing scent and the softest towels on our trip round France. The young hotel attendants helped my parents with their luggage up and down the old staircase to reception. There is a disabled access but there is no lift in this old property.

Breakfast was very limited for the high standard of hotel but all the food was excellent and fresh. No scrambled eggs/sausage/bacon. There was only one remote control we shared between rooms for the fan. My parents didn't like the separate toilet in their room which had no wash basin. My toilet and bathroom was together. A very expensive just for one night in a hotel just to be able to walk to Monet's garden, but I do believe it was worth it.

Trying to manage water taps in shower and wash basin. Did not have warm shower and had to boil kettle to get hot water to shave. Also,poor lighting in room especially bathroom where I had to plug in bedside light to see.
