This is a jewel within the segment of the small hotels along French Highways dominated by players like ibis and F1. Everything is very well maintained. Super clean. Blankets which felt very hygienic (what also in leading hotels is not always the case). Good mattress for a relaxed sleep. A „focused“ breakfast but the few items super high quality (excellent croissant, fantastic baguette, a freshly sliced ham from a great piece). Coffee from the machine far above average. Yet, rooms, beds, bathroom are small. But do you care when just just want to sleep? Friendly multilingual person at midnight at the reception. You even can sleep with open window.

Some of the fans can be loud.

Pool & terrace was amazing after a very long, hot drive. WiFi was good in room and poolside. Both arrival and breakfast staff were very friendly. Location was so easy from auto-route (but Google maps really did not want to take us there, because it was an aire possibly! Be careful) Room basic but met our needs. Breakfast good and reasonably priced. Cafe nearby offered food in lovely surroundings next to Canal. Limited selection when we were there and not great. Restaurant was opening when we left, this seemed to have a better range of food but much more expensive.

Food in cafe nearby was not great but still easily accessible and we needed dinner, so met our needs. Room matches price of hotel, which was a bargain. Pool made up for this though.

Convenient to canal for those on bikes. Comfortable facilities and easy to use. Very quiet. the buffet restaurant was good value.

Little signposting, especially to show how to return to the canal cycling to Carcassone direction. The restaurant and separate buffet restaurant below the hotel had limited opening times, closing at 8 or 8.30 pm. There appeared to be no villages closeby, so you relied on the facilities of the hotel. Keep the window closed to stop the mosquitoes and moths from entering the room.

This is a fabulous hotel with lovely staff who are very welcoming and helpful. It is in one of the autoroute service areas so great for overnight stops. The location is lovely. There is a nice restaurant across from the hotel beside the river where you can dine and watch the boats sail past. The food is ok and the staff are very pleasant. The hotel offers a great value breakfast, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, ham etc. Lovely fresh produce.

There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was perfect.

we were not notified by staff that we needed a voucher to get off the expressway since the toll ticket from day before was expired next day when exiting. we were supposed to receive one from hotel and didn’t

As stated above hotel was fine but Port Lauragais is a bit strange for France. Although the site is well laid out with seating areas, a marina etc, the only place that sells alcohol is the on site restaurant and only if you dine there. The cafeteria, sandwich shop and the hotel don’t sell alcohol. So despite the scenic location you can’t buy a beer/wine to sit and read a book or simply take in the scenery.

We found the hotel excellent for a short stop over during a long car journey, we only stopped slept and continued. For this purpose the hotel is excellent

Though the only negative as the directions given could have been more direct! We left the peage (motorway) to travel for 35 mins across country, when you can actually access the hotel from the services station directly saving 30 mins of detour ...

Super friendly staff, offering to keep baby’s food in the fridge as our room didnt have one. Could use the microwave in the breakfast area to heat up baby s bottle… all we needed to make a stop over convenient.

No real food options for lunch & dinner except typical service area food. No shade at the pool.

It's a very simple but great hotel. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable and have air conditioning. The location is lovely right off the highway but near a canal and woods... It's beautiful.

Friendly staff, good service.. We stay every year in this hotel o n our way to Italy. Not a luxiry hotel but comfortable, very clean and pleasant. Pet friendly. I highly recomend it.

Breakfast is fine but it could be a little bit more assorted. Fresh orange juice would be great.
