This was a wonderful surprise stop after a long day of biking. The staff were friendly and helpful offering me a place to store my bike trailer and very accommodating. They immediately took a reservation for dinner at their restaurant and were very helpful with my dietary restrictions (vegan). I enjoyed being able to watch tennis on tv in the lobby and in my room. Everything was clean and comfortable, I would have stayed longer if I had the time.

As I am traveling along the Canal du Midi, it was a little out of the way to get to, and in an industrial area, so not too many great views. But still, clean and neat and the outside well-maintained.

I’m leaving a review although I’m not usually in the habit of doing it because I was so surprised and pleased with the hotel! The hotel is rugby themed. And I’m not talking about cheap, tacky sports bar, I’m talking classy, high quality statues, art and memorabilia and design touches everywhere! Ive never watched rugby but this hotel made me feel like I was missing out. It was really interesting for my child as well. Well designed, super super clean (lately I’ve seen many hotels with low cleanliness standards so this hotel was exceptional), the bed mattress was firm and comfortable, Well designed rooms two different pillow types to choose from, the small gym was clean and with high quality machines (plus a screen that shows you what kinds of exercises you can do). I didn’t use it but the gym also has a shower that has a bucket suspended from the ceiling, I’m guessing for a cold water after the sauna, pool or sun bathing Staff were respectful and kind. We also saw several professional rugby players but I couldn’t tell you who they are I’ve stayed in Ibis hotels and never with such quality. Will stay here again if I’m in the area!

Really nice hotel with a Rugby theme! New and fresh rooms and bathrooms. Excellent food in the restaurant och free parking outside the hotel. It is worth a walk on all floors to see the shirts from all famous Rugby players that donated their shirts. The hotel is located about three kilometers from city centre of Castelnaudary so it is a bit far out from the city, however is located very close the main roads leading in all directions.

After a grueling 16-hour drive, all we needed was a comfortable sleep and some great food, and we found exactly that at Ibis. This hotel had it all! The room was not only nice but also impeccably clean and wonderfully quiet, allowing us to get the rest we so desperately needed. The staff at Ibis was exceptional, welcoming us with warm smiles and providing top-notch service throughout our stay. What truly stood out was the fantastic dining experience. The food was not just good; it was outstanding, satisfying our tired souls and replenishing our energy. Overall, our stay at Ibis was a breath of fresh air after a long journey. The welcome was exceptional! Each member of staff we met were fantastic. We stayed on a Saturday and we were fascinated to see the locals arrive in their droves to dine here at the “Twickenham Pub”. However, they had good reason, Dinner was first class - high standard Brasserie/Bistro Dining. Quality regional wines and exceptional service. Departed 4 am and the night manager made my coffee- she assisted with carrying my luggage to the car - as I took my coffee to go! This IBIS is one other hotels of similar class could learn alot from.

Great Hotel ,love the Rugby theme of this Hotel especailly if your a Kiwi, never seen so much All Black items in one place outside of New Zealand.The resturant is excellent be it the buffet Breakfast or evening Dinner...( great Cassoulle even better than the top rated Cassoulle resturant close by) lovely attmosphere

Welcoming staff. Good clean facilities and the restaurant was wonderful. It helps if you like Rugby! We arrived with bikes and they secured in the building. Staff went above and beyond to help. Breakfast lovely although you have to find your way around the buffet but it was well stocked and the fresh orange machine amazing.

It's a bit out of town so don't expect a view but the welcome and facilities make up for this!

Great rugby themed hotel, very close to the autoroute and easy to get to. Enough (free) parking spaces in the hotel car park. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Clean and comfy room with excellent shower. Good and varied breakfast choice, cold cuts, boiled eggs, yogurts, pastries, breads, etc and decent coffee too. Didn't have our evening meal in the restaurant as there are other choices close by. Overall very impressed with our stay.

Excellent Hotel, Two minutes off the main motorway, secure parking. Plenty of restaurants nearby but the restaurant onsite was perfect. The themed rugby museum throughout the hotel was very tastefully done. Breakfast was very good and included along with parking in the room rate. Bedrooms were very modern with separate toilet.

Although we loved our stay in this hotel, breakfast was disappointing. Amazingly the two coffee machines both had a problem... in France, the alleged home of decent coffee! The fresh fruit was 'reasonably OK' but not great. Overall the breakfast was only mediocre.
