The hotel is nice, my room was really spacious, and the breakfast was amazing. Also very friendly staff.

They don’t have a 24h reception desk. If you arrive at a late hour, make sure to warn them in advance, so they can put the keys in a safe box for you. The bathroom could have amenities like a shower cap and a mini shampoo. Also, I know Germans drink tap water, but having a mineral water bottle in the room is always nice for foreign travellers. Can't say if the wi-fi works because they did not provide me with any info on that (as I only stayed overnight, this was no big deal for me).

Nice location, close to the park where you can walk your dog, close to the old town, free parking outside. Food at the restaurant was ok. Pet friendly place. Elevator works. The electricity in our room didn’t work, and we got upgraded as there were no other rooms available.

We were disappointed that the “sauna and spa” facilities were being renovated - so couldn’t be used, which was not mentioned on booking.com Very basic room facilities (no kettle), a bit dated interior. We had a feeling that we weren’t much welcomed and that we were a bother for the staff - but perhaps it’s just “cultural differences” thing :/ Steep, narrow road leading to the hotel, a bit of an issue when the snow comes.

I would like to have an access to a kettle and fridge as we carry our food and drinks when we drive long distances. It could be at the reception. It also be helpful when writing a review to know the names of staff. If they don’t like using their own names it might be “nickname “ so we can complement them directly.

Great value for money in a beautiful mountain town. Good breakfast, super friendly and accommodating staff, enormous hotel room ('apartment') with plenty of storage space. I really appreciated the flexible mentality of the hotel staff (all from Czechia) who did their utmost to help think up good and affordable solutions to some of our questions. The hotel was at walking distance (up and down hilly paths) from many of Annaberg's facilities, including some great museums. We definitely want to come back again!

The WiFi was dodgy at best. The bed in our 'apartment' was a bit too small for 2 adults. Our room was only cleaned 1 time during a 5-night stay. The sheets in my son's room were ripped and he didn't have hot water one morning.

The hotel is a hidden gem and secret treasure being set in a beautiful and romantic location opposite the park. Under new management it was evident that attention and efforts have been put into the right places being 1. service 2. cleanliness as well as thick, clean new bath towels and a very powerful hot-water shower. The room was large and spacious and although not fancy, had just what we needed. The dinner was superb as was the breakfast very enjoyable with delicious breads, coffee and everything that one could expect. Outstanding value for money.

For a future stay I would ask for/choose a room not so close to the kitchen from where the sound could be heard late at night and the next morning. An extra pillow should be placed on each side of the bed. One pillow is not enough and it was strange that when we called the Front Office to ask for an extra pillow we were told that he did not have access to any.

Very good breakfast, good Internet connection, nothing to complain except…

I arrived late at the hotel and the room was very cold with windows open. Unfortunately evening opening the heating to the max that wasn't enough to get a decent temperature for the night… That happens quite often unfortunately in Germany when arriving late.

A nice and quiet hotel in a nice place with a very kind personnel. A very good breakfast and dinner (almost all restaurants on our way from Sinsheim have been closed - for me an excellent value for money.
