very friendly staff. Dinner was very nice. Also breakfast was very complete, fresh and nice. There was a lot to choose from. Surrounding and dinner in the "biergarten" was very nice. (it was also very nice weather). Maybe I should use the word "nice" a lot less? :-) But it was nice

maybe fixing the electrical fixtures. 1 outlet was not working and also a a light was not working. Maybe refresh the room in time, now you could smell it wasn't used for some time, but opening a few windows fixed thet very fast

Very well finished rooms in an older building, looks like it has had a recent makeover and it's been done very well. Quaintly decorated rooms downstairs for breakfast/dinner. Area for dinner outside. One of the staff was able to talk to us in English, which was appreciated as our German is minimal. She didn't think she did that well, but she was perfectly understandable.

Unfortunately there's no air conditioning in the hotel, which we knew, but we happened to be there probably on the hottest night of the year so far. There wasn't a fan in both of our rooms and the one that was there didn't help. Our lovely rooms were at the front of the hotel next to the road, so with the windows wide open we heard all the traffic, which started at about 5.30am.

It's a very beautiful hotel, the gardens and outside area are very well maintained. It was peaceful.

The shower room was badly maintained, there was a lot of black and pink mould in the shower which we mentioned at the hotel. They said it was being attended too but this is an absolute no no, especially for people with asthma. We were impressed with the orange squeezer to make fresh orange juice but very disappointed that there were no oranges available at breakfast on the second day at 09:10. No good view from the bedroom window as suggested in the description.

Quiet and beautiful, great service at reception, a varied and very delicious breakfast , a great view of the nature from the room. The visit to the restaurant also really contributed to a highlight feeling. Super friendly staff and the quality of the food is top notch. The price/performance ratio is also good. I can really recommend it.

The corridors and stairs had a rather odd smell, but this was a temporary issue which the owners were getting sorted. Bedrooms, reception and dining rooms were absolutely fine 👍

The location was wonderful—surrounded by beautiful countryside next to a lovely church. The host was outstanding, providing excellent service, and the breakfast was spot on. I would 100% recommend a stay at the lovely, well-run hotel, which undoubtedly exceeded our expectations.

Quiet area, plenty of parking. Clean room and cool even on hot the summer day we were there. Good buffet breakfast, plenty of choice and luckily plenty of tables available in good size nice breakfast area. Nice staff and tea garden upstairs outside. Had a great trout dinner there. Good value for money. Enjoyed the quiet area.

The hotel is in a beautiful location with scenic walks along the wooded hill behind. Our room was comfortable with really nice bed and a good shower. Both our evening meal and breakfast were exceptional. We will return!

It is a lovely size- a proper hotel but with an intimate feel. The shower was a little awkward to get into and had no grab rails.

Lovely breakfast, everything there for a good start to a hiking day, location excellent for me as walking trail next to hotel, staff are very attentive and helpful, evening meal was delicious, hotel has a lovely ambience
