I loved the fact that the hotel was in the Altstadt. It was exceptionally clean.

I may have missed it on the website, but accessing the hotel wasn't easy with GPS trying to take me through the Fußgänger zone. I eventually saw a sign saying that access to the hotels was allowed. I didn't have breakfast in the hotel as I found the price far too expensive. I walked into the town for a lovely breakfast in a small cafe.

The room was great and the breakfast & the meal in the restaurant. Only thing was the pool was too cold to swim in.

The fact that the swimming pool was too cold. I booked because it had a pool but I couldnt swim- far too cold :(

good value for your money. top quality room. enjoy the excellent ( and cosy ) restaurant/pub ( even if a bit expensive... ). perfect location in the heart of a beauty town ( Bad Salz. )

Lovely authentic hotel with great facilities. Lovely views of the town from the balcony. Nice spa facilities.

The pool was rather cold. 2 single beds pushed together that kept separating down the middle!

No air conditioning or similar- room was a bit hot in the evening

The hotel itself was lovely, set on a small incline up from a pedestrianised area, but google maps did not pick that up so I had to drive thru it. Not ideal, but not the hotel's fault. Expected a bath ...as per website.. but only had a shower. The food in the attached restaurant was mainly excellent, except my wife's steak was inedible being very grissly and tough. The waitress agreed not to charge for it which was fair. It is a huge restaurant but there clearly were not enough serving staff, and many customers were kept waiting for periods. . We had booked for 7pm, and by 9.20 we gave up and left having still not been offered the desert menu.

The website does not inform that the hotel is still in semi lockdown and that after breakfast from 10 o clock till 1800 hours there is no service , no restaurant, no terraceservice, nothing . From 1800 the fine restaurant is open . This is the best hotel in bad salzuflen and we hope that the hotel will be full operation soonest .

In our studio i need to work , but there is no chair for office work in the room. For me it is necessary that there is an normal chair. The sitting chairs in the room can be renewed as soon as money is coming in again

Location and service and room

Internet speed is very poor. This is unfortunate because I would definitely consider using this hotel as a base during my company's project in the surrounding area. I do enjoy all other facilities that the hotel has to offer. But the lack of Internet speed does not allow me to work in the hotel.

The breakfast is reasonable but compared to other Hotels very expensive
