We stayed in the junior suite on this trip and the room was absolutely wonderful. It had a complete kitchen (oven, stove, microwave, kettle and a large refrigerator) with cutlery, plates and some pots. Both a dining area and a living area, complete with a couch/sofa and two single chairs. A desk was available. And the balcony totally encompassed the room. The rooms had lots of glass windows to let a lot of natural light in, and electric roll-shades to completely block them out when we wanted privacy. There was a separate bedroom, which is where the bathroom was located. All in all, just a wonderful room (well, multiple rooms actually).

I had stayed in a smaller room (a single) at the Pfeffermühle where there was a bathtub. I would've expected a bathtub in the junior suite, being a much larger room. I'm also not a fan of the glass door to the washroom (even if the glass is not see-through, which was the case - I mean, you could still see that someone was naked in the shower even if you couldn't make out specific details).

We had a Superior Double room this trip. The room was very nice. There was a small couch/sofa that was a nice place to relax (rather than lying on the bed). There was also a desk (and chair). There was lots of closet space and the room itself was quite spacious. The bathroom was large with a bathtub, which had moveable glass walls to allow for a shower. There was a nice balcony, but unfortunately, I didn't get to take advantage of it due to the weather. Herr Lemann is wonderful. I don't think he takes any time off - he's always working. He makes sure that your breakfast is fantastic and your stay in most enjoyable.

I'm not a fan of the glass doors to the washroom. Although you couldn't see clearly through the glass, you could definitely see that someone was having a poo (I do like my privacy when I'm on the toilet or in the shower). The refrigerator was very small. We had the junior suite on our previous stay at the Pfeffermühle, which had a huge refrigerator, so we were a bit spoiled.

We had a big room with wooden floor, which we like. TV had the possibility to change to English audio, but difficult to find the free channels. Staff was very nice. Easy to walk into city centre (10 minutes).

Nothing big. No ac but we could borrow a fan, which was fine (weather approx 20-25 degrees Celsius). Parking lot a bit small so had to park on the street one night.

It was a splendid stay and unfortunately we had only one night stay . The room we got on the 3 rd floor was surprisingly huge actually. Ample space with a balcony as well . The room had kitchen facilities as well . My only advise is that if u are arriving late at night make sure u have some food on you as u might not find any eatery open at that hour

A nice hotel, with a very friendly host who gave me a free room upgrade so I had a quieter room. Free parking at the back of the hotel was a nice bonus. Comfortable and clean room, especially for that price.

Balingen isn’t a very lively town, but a great place for a stopover or to visit nearby highlights.

Small city hotel with nice restaurant. Just 15 min from Burg Hohenzollern which makes visiting that amazing castle very easy.

There is an unexpected step downwards immediately after entering the hotel from the parking area which is a dangerous tripping hazard.

The glass for the shower in the bathtub was not so easy to close/move around.

Breakfast was excellent, cereal, bread, scrambled eggs and sausages, cold cuts, fresh fruit, fruit juices, coffee machine

Everything-beautiful room, fans in the rooms, free parking, block out sun shades. Fantastic breakfast!
