The place was exactly as expected, idyllic small town holiday house. It's nothing fancy, but It's right in the middle of town, close to everything. But also right on a small stream and rocks and park that kids wanted to go climbing and 'hiking' in (we visited in the summer). The toboggan and other activities were all amazing for the kids, and all very near. The staff were very accommodating and have clearly been doing this for years, thanks again for the hospitality. We will be returning when the kids are old enough to do the downhill mountain bike trails! :)

There were not really things we didn't like. The couches half of us slept on were quite hard, but that was also expected, so not really anything out of the ordinary for a ski / hiking location like this.

We ended up getting to this place later than we expected, but the staff were very helpful over the phone. The breakfast was super amazing!

We didn't like that we couldn't eat dinner at the restaurant, even though we arrived an hour before it was supposed to close. Ended up eating in the town. Also, didn't really like all the witches, but I guess that's just a town festival thing.

Rooms were big, very comfortable and clean.

Check in was not possible after 18:00. The staff did not help us neither for dinner nor for breakfast. I understand that they might work with reservation (although the restaurant was empty), but they even not recommend any place to eat. Although we didn’t use the park place, in check out , they tried to charge us without asking.

Very friendly staff, very good food for breakfast and dinner, flats are well equipped, indoor playground and swimming pool were very good, dogs are welcome. This place caters for any kind of traveller. Definitely recommend and definitely would go again

The bedroom was fairly small, there was no space for baby bed in the bedroom, it had to stay in the living room. The only available duvet in the apartment was very thick, it'd have been nice to have a thinner option

Great apartment accommodation in the Harz mountains. Beautiful relaxing gardens. Bonus to have a swimming pool and sauna. Apartment was very well equipped.

The furniture is well worn but perfectly functional… could do with refreshing.

The facility is very nice and centrally located in town with walking paths nearby. The room was large with a balcony, and the kitchenette was very clean and well stocked with dishes and utensils.

The sauna was a bunch of small little rooms (with crabby people).

Exceeded expectation, definitely recommaned the place. Swimming pool, sauna etx are all good and worth. Clean and spacious room, nice enviroment. Will stay there again

Big spacious apartment, very well equipped, good parking facilities and a great outdoor area right on your back porch

we had hoped for better opening hours in the sauna and steam bath, but they were only open two hours at night.

the parking fee for the garage, which was not mentioned at check in or in the booking confirmation, but only at the point of checkout.

Slightly bad smell in one of the showers next to the saunas. I'm sure it was just this time. Nothing extreme at all.
