We were on our way from NRW to the Island of Rügen and broke our journey by staying overnight in this pleasant country hotel. We had booked in advance but rang earlier in the afternoon when we realized that we wouldn't be arriving until after 19:00. No problem. We found the place easily enough and parked outside in the free parking area. The garden looked very nice with numerous chairs, loungers and even a small pool. But as time was getting on, my wife checked us in, and I gathered our dog to get ready to find somewhere to eat. We had previously been informed that, owing to staff shortages, the hotel would not be able to offer any evening dinner. But the owner gave us some helpful advice to find somewhere to eat in this respect. Our good-sized room was on the 1st floor and had a very much of an "olde worlde" countrified feeling. Lots of wood, two comfortable single beds, small desk and chair, free WiFi, free bottle of mineral water, separate bathroom (tiny shower cubicle) and a small area for hanging our coats. On the same floor there was a separate area with a fridge where you can buy drinks and snacks. Breakfast, the next morning was excellent. With our dog in tow, we sat in the main breakfast room, on our own, and helped ourselves to the cold items in the buffet. Both the owner and his assistant were happy to chat and help us find what we needed to set us up for the day. Soon afterwards, we paid up and were on our way. It would have been nice to stay longer and enjoy the garden, but we still had a significant drive in front of us.

It was pity that no evening dinner was available but that wasn't a big issue.

We were looking for a quite location that is authentic. Place for bicycles and rest place for horses. Great breakfast and "on demand" dinner. Rooms were clean and comfy. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Little tip : Try the local honey!

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very tasty and had a nice selection of food sourced locally (including from the hotel/farm itself). We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Very peaceful and relaxing place on the countryside, perfect place to just lay at pool or terrace and enjoy silence, the gentleman that was our host, treated us like family even tho we were the only ones staying that night, made perfect breakfast with everything you can imagine for just the two of us, thank you!
