It is a beautiful historic, tastefully restored hotel with modern facilities. Just off the city centre with quite a lot of private car parking which suited us as we had been driving for 8 hours. The hotel was really accommodating when we had to move our dates by 24 hours as we had car problems before we left the UK. Really comfortable bed and large bedroom with coffee making facilities. Quirky old wooden staircase which is great but could be a problem if you have mobility problems. Really recommend it for a stay in Coburg, we will be returning,

The only down side, which was not really a problem was the lack of 24 reception snd breakfast facilities. The key code system worked well, with details provided 24 hours prior to arrival and for breakfast, we provided fir ourselves.

Location. Not far from town centre, easy to walk to. Beautiful old building, gorgeous winding staircase, very clean.

Need a bar fridge and decent coffee maker

Nice room, location is super on a quiet side street but close to the centre. The day was hot, but in the thick stone walls, it was cool.

Had to wait a moment for the entry code as I hadn't had a chance to fill in the online check in. Nobody is there!

Wonderful and unique historical building within walking distance of the old town.

It is a pity that the current Covid situation has reduced all functions to a skeleton crew with little (and difficult - for us at least) human contact. The hotel loses a lot of character this way but we hope this will change soon for them.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The location was excellent, right in the center of the old town. Check in and Check out was so easy.

I understand it’s COVID-19 but we saw absolutely no staff. “Coffee maker” was not an actual coffee maker and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since other guests used it. Since no one was around to ask questions a map of the inner city and a list of dinner dining suggestions would have been helpful. Also, again since no staff were present, a packet of tourist information would have been nice. We eventually found the tourist office but it was closed due to Covid!
