When we ordered drinks before dinner, the waiter told us the card machine wasn't working and I had to go to find a ATM. After dinner when it was time to pay, it transpired that the waiter had lied because he thought we were only having drinks and he didn't want to take a card payment for a relatively small amount.

Great location in the town centre. We managed to find street parking outside (at a charge during daytime, free overnight). Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast (they even had gluten-free and dairy-free options). The furniture and décor is traditional/old, but that's the style of the hotel. Everything was clean, room was a good size, everything you need in the bathroom. For the price, it exceeded our expectations.

It was in the heart of the old town, on a very quiet market plaza. It was close to other restaurants and sights to see. It had the old world charm I was looking for. Breakfast had all the traditional German selections.

If you are traveling by train, you will need a taxi.

The cleanliness of the bathroom could use improvement.

I liked the location of the hotel. It is located right in the center of the historic town, great to walk to everything. The room was very big and clean. The breakfast was great and the staff very nice and helpful.

Brilliant location, lovely house, lovely staff

No lift, which is understandable because the house is old but is a drawback if you have mobility issues.

We had a plain but spacious and comfortable room and enjoyed having access to the small but clean swimming pool. We had one evening meal here which was excellent.

Perfect position, kind staff, beautiful structure and a modern, large and luminous room. Too bad my stay was short and I was unable to give a try to the swimming pool.

The mattress was simply terrible. Water, or gel, was so strange that me and my wife had a hard night. A small fleck in a spotless experience. But it is a subjective question.

Located in the heart of the city, it's perfect to walk around and near to everything. The breakfast is quite good and the hotel perfectly fits to the "romantica" view.

Clean comfortable rooms with good beds. Excellent location.

Pillows were a bit rubbish and the breakfast wasn’t great.
