We hesitated to book in this hotel because of the low average rating (around 6 out of 10 points). We went there twice in recent weeks, so we got two very different rooms, and were very surprised because the hotel is absolutely fine. In our experience, hotels of the same standard in the same region have considerably higher scores on Booking. This is a two-star hotel and it should be assessed against that. It is centrally located but quiet, spotless clean and, while some of the furniture may not be recent, mattresses, TV and sanitary ware look new. Reception staff are very polite.

Great location, very friendly staff, close to the wild horses, comfy beds, good coffee. Loved this place, will definitely be back.

Some of the other guests were loud and drunk but that's not the hotel's fault. The water pressure in the shower wasn't great but overall I had a lovely stay.

Convenient self checkin when arriving late. Clean with everything you need. One wouldn’t expect more for such a price.
