A charming property with bags of character, refurbished and modernised to an excellent standard but retaining period charm. The comfortable rooms are tastefully furnished by someone with a very good eye and breakfast was outstanding. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Our room would have benefited from some drawer space but other than that it was perfect.

One of my favorite places to stay. I come to the area often and would not think of staying elsewhere. Whoever does the interior decorating is very good at it. Cute, cozy and charming.

I often make the mistake of coming on a Monday and most of the restaurants in town are closed. Not the fault of the hotel but something to keep in mind.

Very comfortable small hotel with good breakfast

Reception does not open until 4pm so if you arrive before that time you have to lug your suitcases to a nearby cafe, not the best start especially if its raining, but that is the only negative and they do advise you cant book min until 4.

A boutique style hotel, the decor was beautiful, very cosy and plush. The beds were super comfortable. The best hotel sleep I've ever had. The beds, pillows and duvet were soft and luxurious...it was like sleeping on a cloud. The breakfast was delicious. Attention to detail with the place setting at the table was noted. Staff were friendly and attentive.

There wasn't really a lobby area to sit in. Not possible to order drinks/food outside of the breakfast time. The cafe area was not open in the evening. It felt more like a luxury guesthouse than a hotel.

The staff is very friendly, flexible and helpful. I have been staying here several times. Good location, everything/centre walking distance. Very good value for money. Great breakfast.

I have had the pleasure to be a guest multiple times, and every time, the staff and hotel live up to my expectations. That is why I happily return

Breakfast was lovely with made to order eggs, homemade jam and fresh juice.

The only thing that was a bit annoying were the church bells ringing all night announcing the time.
