There was noone in the hotel when I arrived, with all doors locked. Had to call the host who took around 10 minutes to arrive. Booked a hotel rather than a private host to avoid the hassle of checking in after a long day of driving. The irony of experiencing the same issue with a hotel was not lost on me. Road works right next to the hotel means finding the hotel car park was difficult, and the walk to the front door quite far (only an issue because it was raining).

This was a solid German guesthouse with a garage with charging stations, comfy bed, good shower, nice staff, quiet, warm, and a splendid breakfast. Grocery stores and good town walking right out the door. We were happy clams.

We liked everything! It was the best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel. Kind staff, and the absolute cleanest hotel we have ever been. We came with our dog, and it was perfect!

Charming hotel in a charming town. The staff were very kind and everything went smoothly. The room was spacious and very nicely equipped. The beds were super comfy. Parking on street but in a small town that is not a problem.

The only thing that stood out is that they need to repaint the walls.

Lovely hotel with great comfort and attention to every detail. Excellent restaurant with tasty and aesthetically presented dishes and a professional selection of wines. Very nice and hospitable staff. Close to the Autobahn, but in a quiet small town. There is a free Tesla charger on their parking as well as an extra non-Tesla charger (AC 11 kW).

The hotel - and room - appeared to be newly decorated. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom well equipped with a very good shower and the breakfast was excellent (and cheap).

Nothing - the only downside was that the restaurant and bar was closed for summer holidays so we didn’t get the opportunity to try this out.

We spent one night at the hotel with our children (1 and 4 year old) and our dog, the hotel is wonderful. The room is big and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and the staff is amazing. We were very happy here and we would like to spend more time at the hotel and in this nice city.

Staff was excellent. The food was exquisite. We had the best veal fillet ever, served by the sweetest waitress.

Fantastic and cheap breakfast, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, good rate, friendly staff. Really would recommend staying here to explore the Münsterland and Ruhr area, provided you have a car. Easy access to the motorway, easy parking.

A kettle for tea would have been nice.
