After a long journey and disgusting gas stations along the German highway, we arrived at a fairy-tale town. We were greeted by the hotel's co-owner, who, even though we were staying just one night, was an exceptional host. The place was treated with personal attention. A good breakfast and a unique atmosphere. We will come back for sure.

They were very friendly. Although we arrived after the reception was closed, still we had a smooth check in. Also the parking was full, but one of the personnel was kind enough to give her parking place to us. I recommended the hotel. Good breakfast.

Overnight stopover enroute to deeper Germany. Lovely hotel, great staff, the evening meal in the restaurant was great as was the beer to wash it down. Breakfast was great also. Cannot complain about anything

The blind in my room was not working, so I got immediately a different room (even upgraded to a double room. Very nice room, good beds and a proper shower/batchroom. Room is very nice refurbished. Restaurant and bar are good with a selection of craft beers and good German food.

Breakfast (scrambled eggs) could be better. The hotel was very busy with groups, so a little more noisy than expected. Not a big thing however.

The location was near the train station. So you could leave the car at parking place and take the train to Münster.. Breakfast was absolutely great. We have had a good stay for two nights.

Nice small hotel in a very nice location. Breakfast has a wide selection of sweet and savory options.

Rooms and bathrooms are a little old.

As always when arriving at Clemens August; Front desk staff is very helpful, friendly and welcoming. My motorcycle was invited to stay overnight in the bicycle stable. The room was very comfortable with a view over the Biergarten and garden. Excellent breakfast in the morning.

In the evening; The hospitality and service in the bierstube was surprisingly low... Even though I had a reservation, the server never showed any interest or initiative to serve... After begging at the bar I was allowed to have a beer and a Scnitzel.... I am confident that this level of service was a "one-time-only" incident. I am looking forward to enjoy the best service and care next time...

Return visit. Very friendly and nice staff. Good and quiet location also close to motorway. Great breakfast buffet apart from above 😉☝️

The overall cleanliness of the room Was good and the room was comfortable.

There was no refrigerator in the room. The room was not quite enough due to the corridors door closed by people loudly.
