The staff were excellent and very helpful. Helped us booked our bus and train tickets. Ordered us taxis and helped sorted out the cost too. The rooms were brilliant and the kids loved the facilities. Breakfast was okay. The view was fantastic 🤩. Free hot and cold drinks at the leisure centre. Free robes and footwear to use in the swimming pool area. Great relaxing area in the swimming pool area.

Getting to the hotel in public transport was not very good. After that we got a taxi and then a train to the central. The hotel didn't have vegetarian sausages. The rooms weren't next to each other as they were very busy when we came. The swimming pool was cold and not heated but we still used it. 😢

The hotel is located in a very beautiful place. It has very polite and friendly staff. Nice pool, but the sauna was turned off and I did not have a chance to use it as I was staying only for a night. 1 night is not enough to enjoy the hotel and all its infrastructure. 2-3 nights would be perfect.

It is located far from the city and there is no option of reaching the hotel by walking from the central station. In the late evening it was almost impossible to catch a taxi and we had to call the hotel for the help. The good thing is that they helped quickly.

The staff is exellent and helps you all the way. They do the extra mile with a smile. Make sure to ask for a refurbuished room. The old ones are not to good as bathroom needs thorough cleaning! After our complaints they did offer discounts and help. The lake is great to walk around, the restaurant is decent.

The hotel is located in the forest and by the lake. It is a beautiful environment and it is quiet. The hotel itself is well maintained. It's very clean. The beds were lovely. There is an automatic coffee maker for grinded coffee, which is great.

I personally missed the fresh orange juice at breakfast. There is orange juice, but it is not freshly squeezed. It is still a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Münster, keep that in mind. Since you are in the middle of the forest, there are no electric scooters available nearby.

This was our second stay with our children and we were very pleased again. Quiet hotel near peaceful lake, with nice swimming pool. Rooms are well kept and personnel was friendly.

The terrasse at the restaurant where smoking is unfortunately permitted.

Very clean, beautiful location. Very nice food, breakfast and dinner. Friendly and helpful stuff. I liked atmosphere in general and design of hotel overall.

Not sound proof. But it is understandable because hotel was build many years ago.

Having to pay to park, even as a disabled guest is not great. I asked about this upon checking out. The receptionist suggested that it was a free service but then liaised with a colleague and charged €9 per day. Disabled parking should be free.

It was clean, had character and was refurbished to a good taste which fitted in with its historic interior. They are very dog friendly. I could bring dog into the restaurant and to the breakfast area. The location overlooking the lake and being next to a river.

That they did not have gluten-free bread as an option. They had run out for the evening meal and there was none at the breakfast either.

1st visit 1982 and internally no change since then and the hotel overall looking a bit tired especially the bathrooms and needs some serious room upgrading and general TLC .However presentation ,service and restaurant food standard still quite excellent and our waiter was friendly and helpful .The quiet location beside the lake is lovely for walks and very relaxing and the spa , unchanged since the 70s , is still great with large pool and most enjoyable to spend time in .

Beer in restaurant not chilled . Bath/shower awkward access and stained grout . Towels have seen better days .

Unfortunately we were relocated to another hotel due to room renovations. The other hotel was decent but not as good as the original. Courtesy dinner was acceptable.
