We stayed only one night at the Hotel am Delft in Emden in June 2024. We enjoyed an easy quick reception and free parking upon arrival. The receptionist was helpful with a map and dinner recommendations. Breakfast the next morning offered all the usual delights and the service was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located right on a waterway and the views from our room overlooked that. It was serene and quite pleasant. We took a short walk to the city center and enjoyed some good food and people watching. The bed was very comfortable, soft, and nice linens.

Location, amenities, view, quietness, minibar included, afternoon coffee time…all in one exceeded our expectations.

Staff at the reception at the time of our arrival either was not understanding English or has other difficulties

Beautiful room overlooking the river. Highly appreciated the remote controlled fireplace, a delightful touch. The staff were incredibly friendly, good humored and professional. Fantastic spa area with 2 saunas and steam barth. Large, well equipped fitness area. Delicious and bounteous breakfast buffet, often regionally sourced.

Every moment was a delight.

Clean and modern. Very comfortable room with great bathroom facilities. Nice view of the harbour. Comprehensive breakfast and the Free parking is excellent. Very polite & friendly staff

Nothing it was fantastic

Good bike storage in separate locked room next to the hotel driveway - much bigger than we expected based on other reviews. Huge breakfast room and restaurant; everyone had space; lovely terrace facing the lake. Good air conditioning. Staff were wonderful, especially on arrival and at breakfast.

Fantastic hotel, great location overlooking the river/marina. Staff were friendly, bar was nice and the attached restaurant though not part of the hotel was superb

Room was cold, not unusual for German hotels but the heating control panel seemed to do nothing.

The best hotel in town by far, but the price sometimes reflects that as well. Very friendly staff, great breakfast and the restaurant next door is superb.

A swimming pool would complete this place!

The staff were so very helpful and did everything to make our stay a real joy. The town of Emden was a surprise and very charming. A 2 day break made special by the staff of the hotel. P.s. the Italian restaraunt on the hotel premises was a real bonus and a real treat

This hotel being such a perl down town i would assume you have a lot of international traveleres, such as my self. I wish there was at least ONE english TV channel. The CNN channel is black, no picture. Also wish self washing clothes was an option or cheaper to get clothes wash.
