The room was well-equipped, generously sized and very clean. Air conditioning worked great. Comfortable bed, good-sized bathroom. Refrigerator and extra sink were a nice plus. The automated check-in at the kiosk was simple and efficient. Parking, free, was convenient. Lift was a plus. The breakfast was convenient - a bakery in the building - and the 10 euro price was appropriate. We were simply looking for accommodations within a reasonable drive from Eisenach. VR managed apartment in Gerstungen fit the bill.

The wifi was unsecured, but that's pretty minor.

The apartment itself is perfect and you can relax nicely and enjoy peace and privacy.

I was a little confused when I went down to the common room and didn't find the breakfast I paid for. I later found out that breakfast was served downstairs in the bakery. So a clearer explanation about breakfast would be great! Pillow was a bit to hard but bed it self is perfect 👌

Very clean and updated facility.

Check in. I booked late while driving to facility. By the time I arrived 45 min later I had not yet been approved for the room. As a level 3 booking member for 5 years straight with not one issue I should have been immediately approved. So a call and 20 min later I was in room. I think I could have gone online for check in had I been approved but that would have not helped either as I was was driving.

The room was ultra clean, functional, and comfortable. And it’s pitch black at night, proper blackout capability and no tiny but annoying LED lights piercing the darkness.

The confirmation emails with instructions where only in German, so had some difficulty getting everything translated properly before my arrival.

Easy access. Very clean and pleasant. There is lovely cafe downstairs. 5 minutes walk to few groceries shops.
