Everything is perfect. Complimentary water upon arrival. Good parking. Breakfast included with the booking. The young man who was working that morning was excellent, kept running around for us to bring fresh food. Lovely staff all round. Beautiful room. The hotel has a fantastic location to the old town of Eisenach. I fell in love with the place and the views and landscape. This hotel and location are incredible. Value for money, very dog friendly. Great for walking in the Thüringer Wald and the Wartburg is stunning and not too far to walk to

Not ideal for people who can’t walk far or up and downhill .

Breakfast in the morning was very good, lots of choice including boiled egg, ham, cheese, pastries, fruit and bread (with variety of jams and nutella). The room we stayed in was airy, had a lovely bathroom, it was all very clean and the bed was comfy. It was a quiet area aswell, so got some great rest here. It was also only 5-10minute walk into town. Great restaurant at the bottom of the hill from the hotel would recommend.

Not a negative, but worth mentioning the hill is very steep you need to walk up and down to get to the town, just be aware if you need walking aids, it may not be suitable.

Located on quite a steep hill, this little hotel is great to stay for a few days and explore Eisenach. Room was very tidy, comfortable and quiet. There is also enough parking for guests.

The road is quite steep and narrow, so some cars may not be easy to get up there. Also the room was a bit small, but the bathroom was big, so that's something.

The service is great and friendly. Late self-checkin is possible (the key was left in the box with a pin code). Perfect location to visit Wartburg and wander. Very quiet at the night. Perfect breakfast. A lot of parking space and it's free for guests.

The only bad thing was a not very comfortable bed in the single room. The mattress is very soft and the pillow is almost flat.

Quiet, elevated position with quick walking access to Wartburg. Very friendly staff. Hot and cold drinks on hand.

The internal decor was not really to my taste. It was imaginative but I felt it clashed with exterior, with its more traditional look.

Though busy, the hotel provided a quiet atmosphere. Entry was clearly explained, no problems. Good WiFi, good breakfast, though nothing special. Pleasant atmosphere. The gorgeous entry hall was a nice catch, but used for nothing really.

Nothing special amiss. The light by the bed didn't work but no problem, I just wanted to sleep.

The breakfast was superb, with a variety of choices from granola and yogurt to scrambled eggs, currant jam, orange juice, coffee and more. Interesting furnishings in the dining area. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel location is a bit off the beaten track. The Eisenach bus driver let me off in the general vicinity and although I had a map of the location, it took me a while to find it. Includes a significant walk uphill. But, on the other hand it was conveniently located to walk to the Wartburg Castle (about 40 minutes).

The man serving coffee at breakfast was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. However breakfast options could be a bit better and include some croissants and vegan milk.

We liked the stay very much. The decor is very elegant. Breakfast fabulous. Beautiful walk to Chateau Wartburg.

The walk to the town longer than expected. Or rather the walk back as it is very uphill.

Close to castle and restaurant, quiet area. The room is beautiful and clean, self check-in was also very convenient
