Very lovely family owned hotel close to all we wanted to see in Hameln. I had expected our studio room to be quite small but it was very spacious! Lovely breakfast offerings which included homemade juices and freshly cooked to order eggs. The staff was so kind and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again!

There was not a single thing I didn't like about this place.

Our family room was super large and had a lovely outlook over the back of the hotel with flowering trees. The room was nicely heated for the cool change and we were comfortable as soon as we arrived. The staff took time to explain the facilities and were very patient with our lack of German speaking. The small underground carpark had good safe storage for our bicycles and charging facilities for the batteries. But the highlight of our stay was the wonderful small but varied breakfast buffet full of local ingredients, including their own products such as homemade jams, honey and sausages made from their free-range saddleback pigs. Fried or scrambled local farm eggs are cooked to order.

Loved the location, close to the shops and restaurants, beautiful buildings, great size room, breakfast was fabulous and the pool in the cave under the hotel wonderful, and the owners and the staff were so welcoming, the hotel was exceptionally clean, free parking, what else could you want or need Loved the fact that although mainly used by Germans and Dutch people for maybe one/two nights and we as an English non German speaking couple they seemed to be amazed we were staying for 11 nights, but as we were visiting places we had last visited in the very early 80's, it was the right place for us to be based, they were great with us and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and most spoke far better English than we did German, the ones that didn't speak English, we all managed to make sure we understood each other I cannot say enough good things about this hotel, anyone visiting Hameln would be silly not to stay there

Right in the old town, easy to park, if not in hotel, free in nearby public parking areas. Quaint period look outside, clean modern interior. Quiet location. Superb breakfast served by friendly, informative staff, in a relaxed atmosphere. Well stocked and reasonably priced mini bar.

Could do with tea making facilities in the room. We had taken our own kettle and tea bags as we had driven there so not a problem for us, but if you’re on public transport, could be a problem. (It’s a British thing)

The room was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent in our opinion. There was a wide variety to choose from. The pool was a bit cool, but with the sauna we were warmed quickly. The pool is not huge, and it is enclosed under the hotel in a very pretty setting. If there are children playing there, it can be noisy. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We arrived by train and the walk was pleasant and taxis were available for the return. The location was perfect for the Altstadt area.

The mattresses weren't that comfortable, although that is each person's own preference.

Very comfortable studio flat for family of 5 which makes are stay enjoyable. The staff was vey friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast 😊

The location and the building was perfect and beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were always smiling and very helpful. Room was great and spotlessly clean. Really made my stay wonderful and I will be back. The pool is a quaint touch too

Nothing major but I like a kettle in the room to make tea and maybe an ironing board to use for ironing.

The hotel is right in the middle of the old town and the view from our windows was lovely - black & white-timbered buildings all round. The pool and sauna area is nice too - like a little underground grotto 😊 The hotel had perhaps the best breakfast buffet I've eaten in a long time - carefully selected and lovingly made things to choose from.

If the room had blackout curtains it would be perfect!

Well this place was a surprise for us. As I recall it has a 3* rating but we were well looked after, parking was available and free and breakfast excellent. This place came by recommendation as we had a meeting locally. Do not expect frills but I can think of a number of places on the same trip that had more stars and were far worse. The location to the centre was extremely good and it was a pleasure to wander around the town. Such an interesting a place too
