Fantastic stay at this family friendly hotel. Would definitely stay again. The breakfast buffet was vast with lots of options. The hotel grounds were brilliant for taking a stroll and we even found a quality childrens playground. Our room in the main part of the hotel was spacious and very comfortable.

The building is superb, as are the complete hotel grounds. The rooms are really comfortable and neat. I like it that there are multiple buildings and possibilities to stay in. The breakfast was also REALLY wonderful.

The bells at night.. It's a monastry so if I would have read this in advance, I could have known..

The bed height from the ceiling is too low and it's a family room with two small beds instead of one big bed.

Setting and grounds, beautiful maintianed gardens. Staff excellent. Dining room and terrace. Location. Excellent breakfast.

Bathroom rather small and only one shelf to place toiletries, no cupboard.

location by it self is good . like swimming pool and spa.

Breakfast was good but I don't see any reason for paying 24 euro. its expensive in compare what you can get, either they should reduce price or improvement more option and quality in it.

Didn't buy breakfast - too expensive at 24 euros! Again, for a top hotel, it is disappointing that tea/coffee make Ng facilities are not in every room. Our room was right at the end - I think amongst, probably, working staff, so the smoking was not so pleasant

Breakfast was outstanding in quality and variety. All services were professional and friendly.

The wellness area was much too small for the number of guests. Towels and snack area were often insufficient due to demand. There is enough space to double wellness area, that is sorely needed.

The friendliness and quality service of most staff. The facilities such as wellness and fitness areas were quite enjoyable.

The only exception was the host to the breakfast area. He was overly directive, but may have been stressed.

Everything. Staff so friendly, rooms big for the price, amenities where exceptional, sauna & spa area amazing, the size of the grounds and things to see and walk to, the food, the decor and family feel, the cakes made by grandma in the cafe, the beer, the amount of available parking, the wildlife, the swing, the deckchairs on the lawn, the flowers and sculpted gardens, the mix of modern with the old style of the monastery in the design, the breakfast buffet (seriously top class), and did I mention the friendly staff. An absolute gem of a place! (already booked for this weekend again - it was that good)

The fact we had to leave on Monday to go back to work.

Such a gloriously beautiful hotel in the grounds of a former Cistercian monastery. Good rooms, great restaurant (home brewed beer) and superb breakfast!
