We stayed here for one night through our 3-day drive. The location was right off the motorway, about 5 minutes. The room was really nice, I especially liked the bathroom, very spacious and clean. Breakfast was simple but great and I loved the vibe; a quiet, slow morning was exactly what I needed before another day of driving.

Since it's a restaurant, there might be events going on till a bit later at night, so if you're planning on sleeping early and you're a light sleeper, you might want to have some ear plugs. Otherwise, it's lovely.

This was a stop over from our road trip from Croatia to Frankfurt. It was only a short drive off the A3, so perfect for us, as we'd been on the road for at least 6 hours by then. This is a nice traditional German pension. There was a shared bathroom for about 3 rooms, but this was clean and well equipped, and even had dental kits, which I thought was a nice touch. It's also a restaurant, so there was a good selection of traditional German food on offer, which was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was waiting for us when we came down, each room had a table prepared for them with their own platter of breakfast meats, cheeses, jams and breads. Next to the hotel was a church, and we were lucky enough to see Peregrine flacon chicks fledge the nest! It's small village, but there was a little supermarket two minutes from the hotel for us to pick up supplies for our onward journey. A would recommend this hotel to others!

Our room was right next to the common area, very noisy and didn't quiet down until midnight. No hot breakfast, though there was a wide selection of breads, hams, cheese and jams. There were a few stairs inside the room to reach the attached bathroom, it's not a problem for us but worth to keep in mind.

There is nothing negative I can say about this property. It is a little off the main road and in a working farm environment so expect the traffic, sights,sounds and smells that go with it. It was however lovely to see the cows waiting to come in to be milked. We travel with two small dogs. when we saw our room we felt it too nice for dogs and mentioned this to ‘The Boss’. ( The girl at receptions phrase, not mine lol) He dismissed our concerns and said with a wave of his hands “ Bring your dogs. Dogs are ok”. We had an evening meal there and it was again very nice. I can’t find anything negative to say. Our own breakfast table was laid out for us when we got up and was a typical continental breakfast. And delicious!! I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The room was spacious and super comfortable. The owner only speak German which made communication a bit difficult at first, but someone of his staff was able to help us in English. Everything was perfect otherwise! The bathroom is shared but was clean, and everything was provided! We used the place only as a reststop on our roadtrip so can't really tell much otherwise, but for a good night's rest this was perfect. Breakfast was included too and delicious!

Availability of staff to wait for us after closing time (23:00) because we were delayed by authobahn traffic blockages. Classis and well maintained property.

The windows better phonic insulated will eliminate completely the traffic noise. Breakfast was good, very few things could have been added (scramble eggs, bacon).

Perfect night stop for when on the road with a restaurant just downstairs and a shop around the corner. I had a large room in very good condition. Great breakfast. The owner is very friendly and behind giving you a comfortable stay.

I personally didn't mind, but it is right next to the church that rings the bell to indicate the time. If you are sensitive to that, you might wake up every now and then.

For the two of us, we booked 2 single beds in a four beds room, but they took the single beds away leaving only the double bed. Problem was resolved with a camping bed, only after a lot of pressure.

for our needs perfekt, most likely very good .Germans can find it easy, we had tons no sign of the Freeway. But under the Bridge ,left Gasstation knew 2 miles .No Problem finding it .Parking and bad tub were great.Good place for a night to go to Passau or north to Regensburg.If you like to go 1 day inside Bayrischen Wald one xtra day would help.

turn off in Hengersberg , confusing.(but next off ramp direction Passau was easy)

The room was very clean and spacious. Comfortable beds. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very friendly. We had a very good stay here!
