Modern spacious rooms with nice shower and comfortable beds. It was perfect for our 1 night stay.

Unfortunately the nightstand was too dusty

I had a lovely stay at Scotty and Paul’s of Deggendorf. The location was perfect – right in the heart of town and convenient for everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever I needed assistance, which made the experience even better. The hotel was clean and tidy throughout, and although I didn’t use the restaurant facilities during my stay, they looked very appealing and well-presented. Parking was generally good, though there were a couple of times I couldn’t find a spot directly outside the hotel. That said, it wasn’t a problem at all – there’s a great car park directly opposite that worked perfectly.

Nothing was an issue, everything was exactly as expected. Highly rate this hotel

The room was quiet, spacious and very clean. The location was great for cyclists on the Danube cycleway (EuroVelo 6). There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk across the road, and a restaurant about 5 minutes walk down the road. Bicycle parking was convenient and well-organised in the underground carpark.

We arrived about 2pm. Officially check-in was 3pm. The staff offered to let us in at 2.30, but we were disappointed that a bit more flexibility was not shown, given we had arrived after a very hot day's cycle. Of course, they were quite within their rights, but staff didn't appear to see if any rooms were available at the time. Breakfast (at 19.90 Euro) was the most expensive offered to us on this trip, so we declined & cannot comment on whether it was value for money.

On arrival our room was ready early but smelt of deep heat muscle treatment ralgex. Staff were quick to move us into a new room that was fine. Garage parking, for extra cost, is good for stopovers and our van.

Bar and restaurant closes at 10pm same as reception. We often drive 16 hours to get here from UK so it’s no good for check-in if delays on the way. Last year we had to check another friend in who arrived at 10.15pm. Sadly no late night drink or snacks in situations like that. Nice bars and restaurants nearby though.

Exceptional Stay at Hotel Deggendorf I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Deggendorf and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-appointed, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient, and the team was always available to provide helpful recommendations and assistance. Highly recommended! I will definitely return on my next visit to Deggendorf.

Nice facilities, but we were lacking a small refrigerator

This is the third time I have stayed at the Scotty and Paul hotel in Deggendorf for 3 nights at a time. As on previous the hotel is clean, the rooms a good size, very comfortable and there is an excellent breakfast in the morning. I have not eaten dinner there but have used the bar in the evening and again no complaints. An added bonus is the spa / gym which might be small but is a welcome extra.

Need to request addition pillow as only one provided. A small complaint but a few more TV channels in English would be welcome but if only staying for a few nights this is not an issue.

Brilliant location. There was a park at the rear that was great for exercising the dog and the town centre was just a short walk away.

We were under the impression that parking was included in the price but that was only for very limited numbers. We had to pay extra to park in the downstairs parking lot .

Easy check-in, great location, close to the motorway for those in transit. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Very clean and comfortable beds.

The restaurant was shut at roughly 20:30 - 21:00 when we arrived, but the reception staff were friendly and have given recommendations. Parking (accessible garage for cars, motorcycles and bicycles) was advertised to be available on site, which it was, but extra payment was not mentioned at the time of booking and was expected when checking in.

The breakfast was excellent, there were many things one can choose and the restaurant where the breakfast was served was very nice. The room was very nice and quiet, and met my expectations. The beds were also very good therefore we had a very comfortable and pleasant rest. The hotel was close to the highway, so we found our way back to highway to continue the trip very easily. Last but not least, the coffee was good at the breakfast.
