We stayed in Room 10, which was enormous and very warm. The location is great, just off the main high/pedestrian street.

Instruction were sent in German, which is fair, but would be helpful to receive these in English as finding the entrance and the key can be tricky. There was a kitchenette in the room with kettle and coffee machine, but no tea bags or coffee capsules.

Clean rooms! Selfservice area, good Talisker whiskey in the bar :)

Cleaning staff turned down my heating hence it was cold when I came back in the evening and the sleeping blanket was not warm enough

The Kirschner family renovated an almost hundred year old house, modernized and updated it without losing the characteristics of the house, i.e. wooden ceiling beams were preserved in the rooms. The rooms are small with modern furnishings, the bed very comfortable. By comparison the bathroom is even generous with a large shower. The Kirschners are lovely hosts, the location is in the ‚old town‘ and right on the Eder river. It is also certified as bike and hike location by the ADFC. The is no breakfast to be had on the property but Meyenhof collaborates the ‚Cafe Nostalgie‘ about two minutes from the hotel. Their breakfast menu is in a league of its own. So even if you do not stay at Meyenhof, go to the cafe for breakfast or to have coffee and homemade cakes and pies. Delicious! We will be back at Meyenhof for sure.

Newly renovated old building, with elegant decorations. Bedroom and bathroom areas are big and comfortable. Easy contact with property by message. Centrally located, with all you need around the quartier.

Very cosy room, comfortable bed and huge bathroom :) Close to city center, 15 minutes to edersee entry point. Also a very good location if you are travelling by bike.

Wifi was working but couldn't make calls with it

it is very simple, which is effective from cleaning and daily management of the rooms. but very expensive for this. little heating.
