Staff are very friendly and the breakfast is great. I enjoyed chatting with them during quiet periods over a coffee, which was very pleasant. My room (219), overlooking the paved area front of house, was fine for a solo traveller. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. A double door opened onto a Juliet balcony. Very welcome in the stifling weather during my stay. I was directed to a safe place to park my motorcycle as soon as I arrived. It couldn't be any closer. Very reassuring. 24 hour reception was nice to see. Just a few minutes walk to town centre. But not so close the very loud Stadt Sauber festival couldn't be heard. It is VERY loud!

Absolutely great value for money in a great location very close to the centre of town. Stayed in a family room with our two kids and it was very spacious and a lovely clean, newly renovated room. Staff were exceptionally helpful. There is paid parking for 7 euro behind the building but there is also a lot of street parking available in the adjacent street. We just had to pay 1.80 per hour after 8am until we checked out. Two laundromats within 350m of the hotel and we desperately needed to do laundry.

There is a lift but after that, there are three stairs up to floor level. Not a big problem for us but a bit of a weird building design. Nothing the owners can do about that. Just be aware if you have mobility issues.

This lovely hotel ticked all the boxes for our one-night stay. A lovely welcome from Joanna, who explained everything perfectly; our very convenient and affordable car park at the back of the hotel (3,70€ overnight) and the excellent location. We were on the pedestrian street (downtown) and at the Christmas markets within 5 minutes walk. Numerous restaurants, a Netto supermarket, chemists, all within a few minutes from our hotel. Our room was an average size, completely renovated, including the bathroom and a great, firm bed. Breakfast was available on-site, but we didn't indulge. Perfect for us, we'd definitely stay here again.

Perfect location in the centre, close to the main monuments of the city. Very good and varied breakfast. Nice and helpful staff. Neat rooms with plenty of electrical sockets, also for USB endings at the bed - great idea! Nice parking place (not belonging to the hotel, but not very expensive and just around the corner).

The rooms were very neat and tidy and clean. Staff were also friendly and willing to help. It’s also in a convenient location to the city and sightseeing locations. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

The breakfast was (for our taste) excellent: a broad variety of cheese and ham, tomato-mozzarella, ruccula salad, olives, soft!-boiled eggs, different types of rolls and bread, white fatless and 3.5% fat containing yoghurt as well as sweet yoghurt, different sorts of black tea (Assam, Darjeeling...) in addition to the obligatory coffee sorts from the coffee machine, two fruit salads, fresh melon slices, juice etc. Also warm food (eggs, sausages) - which we did not try as we do not like warm food for breakfast.

It would be better to offer not only melon, but - perhaps alternating from day to day - also other fruits (apples, kiwis, bananas) not included into salads for those (like me) who cannot eat oranges or grapes. The seal of the shower cabin door was defect, therefore, always some water passed through the door while we took a shower.

Best breakfast I had in a hotel for a very long time. All the people working there were super nice to us. Clean towels and free water everyday, everyone was super friendly, even those who didn't speak English. Highly recommended for a quick stop in Hildesheim!

It is a "budget" hotel, the room was basic but clean and functional. Breakfast was adequate and filling, Location is right in the centre of town, a short, easy and flat 10 minute walk from the Railway station.
