It was in general quite good. The room is spacious and clean. The balcone is nice. You could see it is a little old at some spot but not a problem. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast is very good. They have couple of vegetarian and vegan options. The location is great: close to the quiet beach and the little lake. So you have it all.

The pool is small and sonis the sauna for how many rooms they have. The rooms a not really soundproof. We hear a lot from neighbor rooms and the basement, which is a technical room righr below us. On the balcone you hear from the main road and the train.

Location, location, location. The building is amazing and a real beauty from the outside. Staff overall is great, helpful and very customer oriented. Room was great - clean, large room, wide bed, enough cupboard space, great balcony.

Overall great stay, no questions asked. We had the feeling that some parts of the facilities need an upgrade in terms of value for money. (bathroom joints, skirting board, smaller things) Also - depends on personal preferences - I prefer warm water in a SPA area but the pool water is too cold. Was too cold years ago at our first stay, it's still too cold. In addition, one staff member was way too grumpy. I do enjoy some German grumpiness, but the guy was over the top and left a bitter taste.

The hotel is really excellent, looks like a modern old style hunting lodge. Staff are brilliant. Breakfast was superb. We had dinner there and used the bar - all was fantastic. Location for exploring the Baltic Sea coast was perfect. 30 minute drive to Peenemunde. We had a 15 minute walk to the beach. BBQ alternative to dinner on Wednesday evenings was really enjoyable.

The room remained quite dark during the day and towels were impossible to dry inside. But they were replaced on request without a problem.

Excellent location amidst nature, very good selection of breakfast. The room was nice and clean and swimming pool and sauna was plus. Thank you for the hospitality. Defenitely want to come back in future.

We had a short and lovely stay at the hotel. We enjoyed the sauna and swimming pool. The facilities and rooms were clean. We enjoyed our balcony. The place was quiet and peaceful and perfect for group or family stays.

The location of it was like 30mins walk from the train station if you don’t have a car, it was a horrible walk back and forth to the main city center, to beach and to the train station. It is smart thing to rent a bike as much as possible.

Great location. Always good to be at the Forsthaus. Excellent.startimg point for activities.(walking, cycling, canoe, SUP ...). Partially renovated rooms and friendly staff. Did not use the wellness offerimgs, so can't judge.

we had a very nice room with a big balcony. it was very comfy. Also the bed.

the shower could have been a bit nicer, there was unfortunately no fridge. but other than that it was beautiful. the internet is not working at all.

The breakfast buffet was great. As was the location. The staff are accommodating and helpful.

We were last in the hotel in 2004 and nothing has changed. Which means that 18 years later the walls need painting, the carpet needs replacing and it is beginning to look a little run down.

Quite location, lots of parking, great breakfast

Came with a dog after doing a search on the platform. Didn't know I needed to also inform them. When got to the hotel, the reception women was all getting crazy and raising voice. I was thinking I need to look for another hotel.. At the end, got a smaller room, for the same price and had to pay 20€ a day for my dog. On top, when the kitchen works, the whole hotel smells like the kitchen, the reception women was making a joke asking if it created an appetite.
